Jodah is by far my favourite legend from Dominaria. I've built him as a 5 colour legendary combat deck. It's super fun playing powerful legends and turning them sideways. I completely forgot that Vial Smasher is a card, definitely gonna pick one up. Awesome deck tech as always!
Always LUV your deck techs. They really inhabit the "go big/go crazy" heart of EDH where the dream huge spells and awesome combos can happen. Thanks for making another great deck that take winning seriously enough to do it, but does it in a fun way.
I feel like Jumbo Commander speaks my language and looks at cards the same way I do. Absolutely love this channel and your deck tech. Keep em coming bro.
I know you posted this video a while ago but I love all of your videos!!! Got this as a foil from the prerelease and have been wanting to craft a cool commander deck with it ever since. Your video gave me some great ideas!
I love the fact I'm always messing with decks in the background when Jumbo is talking and certain cards pop up in my hand at the same time he say their name. Fellwar Stone and Twilight Prophet was in my hand at the time he said their name and Combustible Gearhulk and Vial Smasher was in front of me when Jumbo said them. Just made me laugh pretty hard that it kept on happening.
I played a Jodah super friends yesterday, and golly it was gross. The bolas on T5 hurt, and the constant board wipes really slowed me down. Also, urza's ruinous blast...busted. I played my Oketra voltron deck, and poof. All of my tokens and equipment's were gone. Jodah seems good for a fast start, but once it gets rolling, he seems happy to sit in the command zone watching what he's done.
I have been waiting for this deck tech! I love this deck it is a magic version of back yard brawl! Great video! Saw some cards I had not thought of, love it!
Great deck tec DJ! I can't speak for everyone else watching this, but I know I'm not sick of Dominaria deck tecs yet! There are so many interesting commanders! I hope to see Raff soon! That's the commander that I'm most excited about playing!
great video, to answer your question Hell no we are not sick of dominaria, this set was made for us, id love to see some of the legendaries that got overlooked cause of the obvious good ones, maybe a squee deck or the mono red legendary that makes elementals
TheJPKaram I agree with you on this. I can make so many decks (some not that great [Im looking at you Yargle]) in this set its rediculous. That and budget. Im just waiting for this set to rotate out....so it gets a lil cheaper and to get myself a copy of song and speaker.
Actually i tried the yargle deck that Jumbo Commander did and it worked pretty well and was a ton of fun, since it was a ton of fun ! It needs some fine tuning and i will reinforce some of the strategies present more then others but still was great
Yea. I cant play that deck yet....still waitin on cards. And my group doesnt allow proxies...current build is close to it though...minus a few cards its ALWAYS prone to wipes. Which the playgroup I have run plenty of (i think they got sick of my jank homebrews).
David Critser ok so first your playgroup is a bit of an ass for no proxies that’s bullshit. Second add some cards like cauldron of souls, balthor the defiled, demon of dark schemes, rise of the dark realms, and gravepurge That should help with the board-wipes
TheJPKaram ...yea. They have a reason..sorta.. there WAS a guy that played to many proxies (showing he ordered them and they were in the mail or whatever the ruke was bk then) and hed never have an actual copy of the card months down the road...so they opted no proxies for anyone regardless of proof. And i gtta check to see if i got those...im still rebuiding my collection and things are a lil.....out of order.. thanks man. Happy commanderin
My Jodah deck is simply the cards i have been playing for the last 20 years of the game. I used some very high costing cards and ran tons of control in high School. MAN i am so happy with this card as my commander. I call it "My Legacy Eternal" deck. My friends get a kick out of it. lol PLUS sense its so casual, they let me get off the nostalgia spells because i won't make the deck broken. It is pure causal.
Card Advantage additions: -Muldrotha (Jodah's ability still works since it doesn't say ''spells cast from hand'') for card advantage. -Enter the infinite to draw your deck. Keep in mind that if u include it in your deck u should have at least a couple ways to win on the spot with haste enabler/combo. Playing Omniscience like u said is super important for this strategy. Protection additions: -Hexproof: Archetype of Endurance is an 8cmc creature from Born of the Gods that gives your creatures hexproof while denying it from opponents'. Shalai, Voice of Plenty protects you, your pws and all the other creatures from certain effects. Asceticism gives hexproof and regenerate to your creatures. -Indestructible: Avacyn (the huge one). Her only disadvantages are her high cmc which Jodah laughs at and the fact that she is not exactly budget friendly. But she is definitely worth it. -Kira, great glass-spiner also provides some form of protection for your creatures against targeted removal. Not particularly budget either.
More Deck Techs sounds awesome :D Also id like to suggest Vorinclex Voice of Hunger to this Deck to double your mana and hopefully doubling the amount of spells you can cast per turn :D
You are correct. Vorinclex would be really good in this deck.but the card pulls SO MUCH HATE in my meta I often forget about him. Also for every mana you tap with Vorinclex out it gives you that extra mana but it also sucks away a tiny piece of your humanity similar to a dementor.
I've been futzing about with a Jodah build where it uses green mana and mana enchantments to ramp -- A lot of mana fixing in order to get big spells. Tricking people into thinking you're only running green mana in a 5 colour deck.
I like the idea of Cascading Cataracts also because it has Indestructible as well. Filter lands have always been good on their own. It mana fixes and if you can use artifact ramp on Cataracts, it's less lands tapping and more artifact tapping. I would have Yidris in this deck for another layer of five-color High CMC tribal synergy!
I like Yidris in this list especially if your other creatures will be doing some attacking. I'm OK with traditional filter lands but it makes me sad to go down in mana (6 in 5 come out) just to get my fixing.
Another interesting commander deck. Checking your deck list, I'm hesitant to use a lot of non basic lands. I'm playing against players who likes to play BLOOD MOON and MANA BARBS. For me its a must now a days to have at least 5 counter spells. Seems like they don't like me to play fun MTG.
Blood Moon is tough. If it's in your meta I think you need something a little more dependable than this deck because Blood Moon strategies prey on greed - like greedy mana bases. Jodah ... well, it's a super greedy strategy to have your commander live, get perfect mana, and then chain cast every huge powerhouse you have. Too greedy when people in your playgroup are looking to punish that kind of strategy.
The Ur Dragon and other multi-color commander decks with white, I included Celestial Dawn. I cast Belbes Portal and Quick Silver. "No you don't". My playgroup does not know this card Celestial Dawn, we even have to argue its rules. Thanks to you, I learned about this card from you. For several turns it helps me cast multi-colored spells. By the time they destroy or remove Celestial Dawn, my big multi colored dragons are in play.
Jumbo- I'm interested in how one may go about organizing their collection with Commander deckbuilding as a priority. Of late, I've been having a gnarly time as I've been gathering tasty morsels for awhile now and as I set out to build I find myself completely overwhelmed by the sheer chaos of my collection!!! Its a jungle man.
I know what you mean. I KNOW I have a card and when I can't find it ....UGH .... it drives me crazy. 1) I never swap cards between decks. I have a lot of decks and I really want certain decks to share cool/expensive cards. I don't do it because I end up with 97 card decks or a deck with an IOU on it. Plus I play more different/interesting cards if I'm forced to choose which one deck gets my Mox Diamond (because I'm not buying any more!). 2) I keep color specific binders for everything over $5 and KMC 1000 count plastic boxes for every color. So every color has a binder, a box, and of course a ton of singles mixed into 5k cardboard boxes of bulk. 3) Most importantly I have an "intake box" so I have a place to put stuff when I don't have the discipline to file it away exactly where it should go. 4) I build decks in binders so I can visualize what I need and slowly collect the cards through trading, orders, etc. I'll sometimes put little pieces of paper in the binder sleeves as placeholders for things I need to get. 5) I always double sleeve my cards. A single perfect fit goes on every foil and every card that goes into a binder. I know it gets expensive but I'm convinced that I have less trouble with curling and damage. I also sleeve everything in the same color/brand outer sleeve so I can easily break an old deck down or assemble a new one. This is not the ideal system. It's kinda janky. It's just what I do. even after all that ... things still get stupid. Oh, well. It's fun and therapeutic to sort cardboard. Questions?
An interesting thing about domain is tat it can trigger for 6 if you include a wastes in the deck, or something that changes basic land types. I'm planning to include all of the 5 bringer of [color] dawn when I build a Jodah deck, big creatures with good or awesome abilities and built in fist of suns seems to fi well with him.
Unfortunately, you cannot domain for 6 with Wastes. Wastes is a basic land but not a land type (gatherer.wizards.com/Pages/Card/Details.aspx?name=wastes). I love the bringers! They don't get enought love. A perfect inclusion.
I didn't knew that, if they ever revisit the colorless matters theme they should fix that. The bringers are so good, except for being unable to go in my mono-colored decks, they bring a nice diversity in strategy and utility but don't need further support except for the green maybe.
Whoa, Baneful Omen is nasty, too bad it triggers at the end step though or it would be amazing in Rakdos, Lord of Riots. Speaking of Rakdos, I know you're focused on Dominaria right now, but I noticed you haven't done a deck with him. An obvious include for him would be Twilight Prophet.
want a card that's underrated for Jodah? Mycosynth Lattice you can ignore the "everything is an artifact" part, even though Vandalblast is a one sided wipe you can ignore the "everything not out is colorless" part what REALLY matters is "Players may spend mana as though it were mana of any color" meaning Jodah now effectively says "You may pay 5 rather than pay the mana cost for spells that you cast" instead of WUBRG. that's a BIG discount!
I saw just how powerful this card can be when a friend of mine played a Planeswalker-heavy deck, which he called 'The Avengers'. Of course, Jodah is basically Thanos in that deck. It was insane just how powerful this card can be when it gets to stick on the board.
My Jodah commander deck is full of planeswalkers. Well... ten planeswalkers. But that’s still quite a bit. I know it might not be the best way to play it but dang it. I love my planeswalkers and it’s fun.
In "The Gathering Dark" book it is explained that Jodah's name is pronounced with a soft y for the j and the h is silent, so his name is pronounced more like Yoda.
Would you consider making a video on general deckbuilding? ie. what rules you personally have and what are your general guidelines and recommendations.
Yes, I'm working on that right now. It can be hard to know what people know and what needs to be explained because this game is so complicated. It is on my radar even though I'm struggling a little to make it exactly right.
Eternal Dominion is fun and all, but I think it's too slow without a lot of copy spell support cards for it on the cast. It's the kind of wincon that needs special deck construction to be taken real advantage of. This is the second Jodah deck tech I have seen and it really seems like a fun deck to play. I hope to make it some day.
A man of culture I see. I was like play testing my ezuri (claw). When I heard him say the best card in magic. I lost my shit. It's best to be Unexpecting a result. Hahaha.
Bring to Light is a great card in any 5-color deck. Not a massive swingy card for this deck, but not only can you play Jodah directly from your deck (like I do in my Ramos spell-slinger), but you also have the option to play Bring to Light to search for Diabolic Tutor (or similar), which nets you any card in your deck, setting you up for one of your massive plays next turn. You could also use it to search for that Anguished Unmaking or Decimate. Not a card I'd include in any deck with less than 4 colors, because the value starts to decline steeply, but it's worth seriously considering in 5, I think. On Cascading Cataracts, colorless mana sources significantly hinder Jodah's effectiveness, but having a Reliquary Tower in a deck where you can't play some of the big cards you're running is just super important, and Sol Ring is literally the most-played card in the format. Cataracts, Signets, and other filter lands allow you to still run important colorless sources without locking you out of Jodah's power for even longer. It's also way less expensive than the important multi-color lands that you almost have to run to make the deck reliably function
Casting Omniscience for WUBRG with Jodah/Fist of Suns into Enter the Infinite is GG. If you don't get rid of Bringer of the Black Dawn you might as well scoop. Speaking of Eldrazi you may as well run Void Winnower to shut down even CMC Commanders. As for the mana base you want to run 2 of each basic, 10 checks, 10 shocks, Krosan Verge, and Riptide Laboratory to help protect Jodah since he's a Wizard. Since Jodah focuses on cast triggers Lifecrafter's Bestiary and Veilstone Amulet seem pretty good.
I find Bringer of the Black Dawn and Bringer of the Blue Dawn are a must have, simply because you can cast them for WUBRG as well without Jodah on the battlefield, meaning you don't break your strategy by running them and it is not like those two are bad.
Been seeing a lot of Valduk requests. I don't have anything over the top exciting for him just classic equipment aggro stuff. I'll keep up the brewing.
I'm surprised you didn't include Vorel of the Hull Clade, since he can double the counters on the artifacts and creatures that grant mana, making it possible to use Jodah 2x or even more in a turn for the low cost of 1 G and 1 U
Great video I would have put some cascade in the deck maybe maelstrom nexus so you get even more free casts on the first card each turn. Or a maelstrom wanderer 8 so high cost gives hast and 2 cascades
Aetherworks Marvel is a nice bridge between Jodah and energy. I have seen energy decks and I just wish there were a few more energy cards to make the cardpool a little deeper.
Jumbo Commander i think they aren't going to though unfortunately.... I like the idea of having this other form of currency that you can bank to then use in a variety of ways depending on what the gameplay may require.
A favorite of mine. I think he works best when we are actively pressuring life totals so people don't want to pay the life ... this deck may be a little slow BUT it's so on theme. What do you think?
please do tetzuco Umezawa, fugitive he is my favorite card in the set and I have made a standard, modern, and brawl version but I can't figure out how to make an edh version of it (i gave up on vintige and legasy vertions because, duh)
Check out bloom tender and lurking predators. The latter might not be as good for your deck but I build mine with a lot less creatures that had cast triggers
I made a deck around Jodah and went infinite turn 3 Hand: Plains, Forest, Swamp, Sol ring, Izzet Signet, Omniscience, Grozoth/Enter the Infinite Turn 1: Plains - > Sol Ring - > Izzet Signet Turn 2: Swamp - > Cast Jodah Turn 3: Forest - > Cast Omniscience - > Cast Enter the Infinite or Grozoth Basically, you draw your entire library or all 9 cmc cards and play every nonland card from your hand. Playing Dragonlord Kohlagan(?) gives all your creatures haste. Busted
It's still a great card to have. If you cast Ramos, then cast something like Jodah himself, that's already 3 counters. Then another gold card and boom, 2 spells instant value.
I don't know about great. It's 6 CMC and you have to wait for its benefits. Additionally, it dies to creature removal and artifact removal which makes it extremely vulnerable. Just not a good card in this deck, I would rather cast anything 6 or above CMC for WBURG than lay him out there for 6 mana.
keetakitten: true, but even so Ramos will still look at the cards mana symbols, so you might still be paying all 5 colours, but you would get the counters for whatever colours were in the spell you cast. Which I believe was the point in the example. Please correct me if I'm wrong though.
I've played Jodah last weekend at a brawl tournament. It's so so fun to play but : If your opponent have controls that delay a lot your game. On the other hand I've had big success against control deck, because they always have to make a choice. But unfortunately, jodah is very sensible to Aggro, because unless you start your hand with cmc 2-3 controls spells you are likely to die on turn 4-5-6.
I played against a Joda deck similar to this build in multiplayer using my favorite commander Nath the Guiltleaf. That player didn't have a hand left to keep a decent board state. That player didn't do well.
I started to build a Jodah deck but I noticed two pretty big concerns. First, Jodah is amazing at cheating giant spells out early, which is fun but it can quickly turn the game into an archememy style. People will gang up on you when you start dropping end game bombs on turn 4 or 5. The other problem is as the game goes on Jodah gets less and less powerful as cheating mana costs becomes less impactful the longer the game lasts. Still looks fun to play but I prefer the decks that don't draw much attention until it's too late.
Jodah god tribal edh deck with morphus and Ramos on the field. Jodah says you pay wburg Morphus says name a creature type and it specify cost wburg less (jodah and morphus say you pay it free Ramos sees that you just cast that five colored spell. Now remove 5 counters from Ramos to add 10 mana Cast your next free five colored spell and get ten more mana.
Hey fun fact ya’ll: when you combine Jodah with the new Morophon legendary creature, you can play creature spells of the chosen type FOR FREE! Is anyone else dreading the first sliver even more now with this combo, or just any sliver legendary at all????
It’s not too powerful but for flavor take the kamagawa bringers and the legends that had the indestructible counters form the same set with some of those dragons ….the abilities are pretty decent and flavorful
I already have krenko but since my mom finally bought me a mtg gift of merfolk vs goblins wanted to do something with all that goblins and squee leading charge. Lol.
I recently just built my Tetsuko Commander and had a challenging time building it because it’s a little unusual build.🧐 I hope to see your build soon and your take on the deck😁
He's eternal. He feels the connection with the unending oblivion that the eldrazi face. You can add Edrazi Conscription as a voltron win condition but then also when Jodah is turned into an eldrazi he'll be fine helping them?
Ive had unexpected results hit 5 lands in a row in my Derevi "enchantress" deck I put it in there for fun....yea it stays thers regardless of what else I pull or buy thats better.
Fist of suns: infinity gauntlet
Jodah: dr strange
Required include ... Vona's Hunger
Jodah is totally Doctor Strange! I have a Jodah deck & I'm trying to figure out how to recreate the "Dormammu, I've come to bargain" scene for LOLs.
adym15 one of the lich cards
Do infinite combo mindslaver. That is the closest you will get to the scene.
Yargle: Hulk
Fist of Suns is just the Infinity Gauntlet.
Vona's Hunger
Casting Vona's Hunger with Fist of the Suns may be mana disadvantage but huge flavor win haha
let me introduce you to the Blood tribute.
Curse of the Cabal, I'd say.
i just assembled this deck the other day! i couldnt help but buy five "infinity lands" to assemble, one unstable land of each basic land type.
Jodah is by far my favourite legend from Dominaria. I've built him as a 5 colour legendary combat deck. It's super fun playing powerful legends and turning them sideways. I completely forgot that Vial Smasher is a card, definitely gonna pick one up. Awesome deck tech as always!
SouixWarrior01 my buddy has him as his comander for the 2017 dragons precon. Is so silly..
Always LUV your deck techs. They really inhabit the "go big/go crazy" heart of EDH where the dream huge spells and awesome combos can happen. Thanks for making another great deck that take winning seriously enough to do it, but does it in a fun way.
THANK YOU! I'm so glad you get me ... actually, I think we get a lot of players out there. Winning with style is totally worth it.
I feel like Jumbo Commander speaks my language and looks at cards the same way I do. Absolutely love this channel and your deck tech. Keep em coming bro.
You must be incredibly intelligent too ... and handsome.
I've been tweaking my Jodah deck to fit my meta and this will be a huge help. You have perfect timing my friend.
Kudos for tweaking to fit your meta! More people need to think of how their deck fits in.
Fantastic deck tech! Jodah is such a versatile commander!
Affinity For Commander hey martin
My current favorite commander is Ramos, Dragon Engine. It’s a great to see him pop up in a ton of 5 color decks now.
I know you posted this video a while ago but I love all of your videos!!! Got this as a foil from the prerelease and have been wanting to craft a cool commander deck with it ever since. Your video gave me some great ideas!

Just made me laugh pretty hard that it kept on happening.
I'm so excited about building this deck now! I was on the fence before this video. Thanks JUMBO!
Such an awesome deck tech. I definitely need to go through my build and add some of these ideas to mine. Another 10/10, Jumbo!
This build does have a higher proportion of 10/10s than almost every other deck tech!
I played a Jodah super friends yesterday, and golly it was gross. The bolas on T5 hurt, and the constant board wipes really slowed me down. Also, urza's ruinous blast...busted. I played my Oketra voltron deck, and poof. All of my tokens and equipment's were gone. HMMMM t5 bolas
tasty tasty
Oh wow! I didn't even think of making a Jodah Super Friends deck! That's a cool direction!
I have been waiting for this deck tech! I love this deck it is a magic version of back yard brawl! Great video! Saw some cards I had not thought of, love it!
I like how you called Ulamog Kozilek and then described Ulamog's ability
Yup. I figured that out even before the final edit was done .... and TOTALLY didn't change it. No regrets.
Jumbo Commander noice
Kozilek, the ceaseless butcher, and Ulamog, with a hunger of truth.
Great deck tec DJ! I can't speak for everyone else watching this, but I know I'm not sick of Dominaria deck tecs yet! There are so many interesting commanders! I hope to see Raff soon! That's the commander that I'm most excited about playing!
That seems to be the case. More Dominaria techs on the way!
That's awesome! Thank you Jumbo! I'm sure you've been busy with making all of these deck tecs. I bet It's a lot of work.
I love some of the choices, definitely some sleepers in here I never would have thought of! Great video!

When you said “myojin of life’s web let’s you get stuff from your graveyard”, I thought, “oh good another card I’ve been reading wrong for years.”
My Jodah deck is simply the cards i have been playing for the last 20 years of the game. I used some very high costing cards and ran tons of control in high School. Just got to work and I'm hella hype to see this deck tech got posted. Throw a goblin game in there for some fun!
You should just post on every future video: "Throw in a goblin game for fun." Because that is ALWAYS an excellent suggestion.
Jumbo Commander I'm your guy 👉👉
Never have I clicked on a deck tech vid so quick

The Suncrusher / Crystalline Crawler / Painful Truths hack is inspired. Well done dood.
Great build ! I was wondering about putting Mayael, and original Jhoira. Not sure about Narset though as I expect a more creature focused deck.
I've been futzing about with a Jodah build where it uses green mana and mana enchantments to ramp -- A lot of mana fixing in order to get big spells. Tricking people into thinking you're only running green mana in a 5 colour deck.
I have decided I like the word futzing ... and you deck idea ... but also futzing.
I think I might toss in a Release to the Wind for when those "cast" triggers feel so nice you wanna "cast" em twice!
Actually ... YEAH, it's protection and it lets us rebuy a Myiojen divinity counter or an Eldrazi, OR ZACAMA! I'm in. Awesome tech.
I like the idea of Cascading Cataracts also because it has Indestructible as well. Filter lands have always been good on their own. You gotta do a Hallar deck tech. I'd love to hear your opinions on what kicker cards are worthwhile.
I love this commander, T5 Progenitus has made me happy more than once :)

Yeah, so few opportunities to play them then we have to take advantage of it when we can!
Jodah Dragons!! My first thought was Jodah with secret Scion of the Ur-Dragon and its been wrecking ever since.
Russell Harsh Mentor and Neheb the Eternal are nice in Rakdos too!
I had actually considered Harsh Mentor, but I'm not sure where to fit him.
want a card that's underrated for Jodah?
Mycosynth Lattice
you can ignore the "everything is an artifact" part, even though Vandalblast is a one sided wipe
you can ignore the "everything not out is colorless" part
what REALLY matters is "Players may spend mana as though it were mana of any color" meaning Jodah now effectively says "You may pay 5 rather than pay the mana cost for spells that you cast" instead of WUBRG. that's a BIG discount!
I saw just how powerful this card can be when a friend of mine played a Planeswalker-heavy deck, which he called 'The Avengers'. Of course, Jodah is basically Thanos in that deck. It was insane just how powerful this card can be when it gets to stick on the board.
Make sure your friend is playing Vona's Hunger.
Jumbo Commander "Perfectly balanced. As all things should be" - Jodah, the Mad Archmage.
My Jodah commander deck is full of planeswalkers. Well... ten planeswalkers. But that’s still quite a bit. I know it might not be the best way to play it but dang it. I love my planeswalkers and it’s fun.
best type of mana fixing id say is chromatic lantern i run it in my scion deck and it works wonders in any 5 colour deck
in my jodah deck unexpected results strikes fear in the heart of my opponents!
In "The Gathering Dark" book it is explained that Jodah's name is pronounced with a soft y for the j and the h is silent, so his name is pronounced more like Yoda.
The deck techs are getting better and better !
Have you given a look to raff capashen ?
Yes. I have a deck in the works for Raff. Historic Control. Should be a powerful deck.
Jumbo Commander vedalken orrerry on your historic spells in your commander is great. Josh lee kwai will like it !
Can't wait for it! Before I got started on Jodah, I built Raff first. I would love to see your take on Raff.
Hahaha.
Much thanks for this video!
A favorite card of mine is Cerebral Vortex ... of course it's getting countered if you have your whole deck in your hand but I still love this card.
Hey Jumbo, are you a man of value or a man of jank? If you answer Jank...I'm going to recommend to you....CASCADE!!!!
HAha, I do love me some jank. I did include a Wanderer in the decklist but I clearly need ... way ... WAY ... moar.
Jumbo Commander Throw in a good mix of chaos and hell add Omniscience...go from a board state of crap to Holy crap in seconds
Sounds like you just made a commander deck.
Kiefer Baker I was just telling my nephew how jodah works with cascade
Yidris :P
I find Bringer of the Black Dawn and Bringer of the Blue Dawn are a must have, simply because you can cast them for WUBRG as well without Jodah on the battlefield, meaning you don't break your strategy by running them and it is not like those two are bad.
They are in too few decks.
Please do a valduk deck tech jumbo. Keep up with the dominaria stuff I love your content and can't wait for the next video :)
Been seeing a lot of Valduk requests. I don't have anything over the top exciting for him just classic equipment aggro stuff. I'll keep up the brewing.
Jumbo Commander what about elemental tribal?
Sure we want more! I want the legendary tribal with the vampire guy.
This is the Eldrazi deck I always wanted to build.
I am dissapointed that i didn't see prime speaker zegana, she is Frickin amazing card draw
Another deck I've been waiting to see made is a 5 color energy deck with maybe Jodah as the commander.
I agree. Sorry bud. Energy was just good enough to make people dislike it. lol
Jumbo Commander yep haha we may see it when they got to vryn. But other than that i doubt it
Could you do a deck tech for grand warlord Radha next please? Really would love to see that.
Hello Jumbo, great decktech but can u make commander decktech on Thriss, nantuko Primus?please alot
Nevermore- Jodah, you go
Sin Prodder would be also very fun. I love this card
A favorite of mine. I think he works best when we are actively pressuring life totals so people don't want to pay the life ... this deck may be a little slow BUT it's so on theme. What do you think?
What’s that art from at 20:05?
For some reason in my group I end up being five color tribal , the ur dragon , najeela the blade blossom and now jodah welp
please do tetzuco Umezawa, fugitive he is my favorite card in the set and I have made a standard, modern, and brawl version but I can't figure out how to make an edh version of it (i gave up on vintige and legasy vertions because, duh)
Someone tweeted at me some interesting interactions. I wasn't even thinking of him but now I'm seriously considering a deep dive.
Check out bloom tender and lurking predators. The latter might not be as good for your deck but I build mine with a lot less creatures that had cast triggers
Both solid suggestions. This just goes to show how flexible Jodah can be.
Jumbo Commander for sure. Thanks for the reply, love your channel. Keep up the great work!
Jonah looks so sick!
Cant wait to meme on my friends with Eternal Dominion.
I made a deck around Jodah and went infinite turn 3
Hand: Plains, Forest, Swamp, Sol ring, Izzet Signet, Omniscience, Grozoth/Enter the Infinite
Turn 1: Plains - > Sol Ring - > Izzet Signet
Turn 2: Swamp - > Cast Jodah
Turn 3: Forest - > Cast Omniscience - > Cast Enter the Infinite or Grozoth
Basically, you draw your entire library or all 9 cmc cards and play every nonland card from your hand. Playing Dragonlord Kohlagan(?) gives all your creatures haste. Busted
I think a jodah group hug fling deck would be amazing
Have you seen any of the jodah superfriends decks running around? What do you think of them so far if so?
I don't think they are any better than Atraxa superfriends but it doesn't mean that they aren't super -fun.
Myojin of Life's Web doesn't interact with the graveyard. It lets you drop all your creatures in your hand.
Ramos' ability checks printed casting cost and not Jodah's alternative cost. FYI
keetakitten Thank you, I was hoping someone had said so
Yea which is why Ramos will not be in this deck for me haha
I have only seen brawl games stall out hard but I don't think I've really played a well-tuned aggro deck.
I played against a Joda deck similar to this build in multiplayer using my favorite commander Nath the Guiltleaf. That player didn't have a hand left to keep a decent board state. That player didn't do well.
You should try to play Primevals' Glorious Rebirth in this deck because you have a lot of lengendary permanents ;)
I'm surprised that Worldspine Wurm didn't make it into the video, 15/15 with trample for 5 mana? Yes please!
Get out of my head! I had most of this list already in my Jodah deck xD
Totally correct. One thing that does put you at an advantage in the late game is that your card quality should be better than the average deck.
I'm still a bit disappointed Jodah wasn't a Jeskai spell slinger commander, because I've been waiting for that for some time.
Shu Yun?
I didn't see any lands in the video what are they i am trying to build this deck for myself
WWUUBBRRGG? More like Twoberg
Also, I really like the high CMC theme with stuff like Undaunted, didn’t think of that myself.
well ... now I have to play my Ramos deck this week and say that until my friends scoop.
Jodah god tribal edh deck with morphus and Ramos on the field.
Jodah says you pay wburg
Morphus says name a creature type and it specify cost wburg less (jodah and morphus say you pay it free
Ramos sees that you just cast that five colored spell.
Now remove 5 counters from Ramos to add 10 mana
Cast your next free five colored spell and get ten more mana.
Omniscience, Enter the infinite cast all your entire deck, nuf said
good opportunity to make a tribal eldrazi deck
Would Gisela double damage done by cards like vial smasher? And Sorin?
Hey fun fact ya’ll: when you combine Jodah with the new Morophon legendary creature, you can play creature spells of the chosen type FOR FREE! Is anyone else dreading the first sliver even more now with this combo, or just any sliver legendary at all????
I’m more or so thinking about Eldrazi bruh lol
@@Brandon_94 yeah dunno what I was thinking tbh eldrazi way better with this ha
cascading cataracts costs 5 mana to activate, or are you counting tapping the cataracts itself as 1 mana "lost"
With Ramos, what about Door to Nothingness?
Ugin's Insight would be cool card draw in this deck
It’s not too powerful but for flavor take the kamagawa bringers and the legends that had the indestructible counters form the same set with some of those dragons ….the abilities are pretty decent and flavorful
Can u please do a squee the immortal list or maybe a u/r wizards?
I don't know how to build a squee deck yet. You are not the only person who wants to see Squee lead an army.
ur a wizard edgar
I already have krenko but since my mom finally bought me a mtg gift of merfolk vs goblins wanted to do something with all that goblins and squee leading charge. Lol.
Next deck tech Tetsuko Umezawa, Fugitive edh build!⚔️
I was working on a build that I'm really liking because it's playing cards that I NEVER see at EDH tables. I hope it comes together soon.
I recently just built my Tetsuko Commander and had a challenging time building it because it’s a little unusual build.🧐
I hope to see your build soon and your take on the deck😁
gilded lotus and sol ring into cascading cataracts seems worth :p
...but why would Jodah align himself with the Eldrazi?
He's eternal. He feels the connection with the unending oblivion that the eldrazi face. You can add Edrazi Conscription as a voltron win condition but then also when Jodah is turned into an eldrazi he'll be fine helping them?
He's a cosmically powerful, immortal archmage. Dude's probably forcing them to do his bidding, the crazy son of a bitch
Video about Sygg, River Guide !!! Please !!!
Ive had unexpected results hit 5 lands in a row in my Derevi "enchantress" deck I put it in there for fun....yea it stays thers regardless of what else I pull or buy thats better.
At that rate you'd get to cast it twice in a single turn. That's value when you got nothing going on.
Jumbo Commander pretty much. Heck i didnt think it hit that many lands....but it happens. Random lovely randomness.
Hey im new to magic but one card for mana fixing i thought of is chromatic lantern. Let me know what you think
A perfect include. You might be new but you're thinking like a great commander player should!
Gaddock Teeg says hellow to big spells
