I spent the night with my ex. We slept on the same bed. It was a a friend's party. I was supposed to spend the night, they weren't. They were supposed to leave right after. They ended up falling asleep because of too much alcohol consumption. I had spent the entire night being distant because I didn't want to rekindle any of our feelings and emotions. But seeing them laying down so peacefully and asking me to stay with them, I couldn't resit. My mind kept saying that this was a terrible idea, but my heart kept screaming that it was okay to be a nice person. So few minutes after lying down next to them, I. felt the urge to play some music, this song was the first that kept coming to mind. so I played it, then the entire album. The break up was less than 3 months old. And OLD WOUNDS, HALLUCINATIONS, JANUARY RAIN, USE ME, DEATH OF ME... the entire album actually made me realize that this story isn't over. I haven't contacted them much since, but that's because there are things that they need to deal with on their own. And I know that if we give it a try once again it will be the last. So we might as well make sure that were both ready. Fingers crossed! (posting this under every songs I mentioned. hahaha)
