Mazzy Star INTERVIEW June 12, 2018 w. Hope & David (AUDIO) for ABC Radio MELBOURNE

ABC Melbourne Australia radio host Myf Warhurst interviews Mazzy Star's Hope Sandoval and David Roback who were in ABC Sydney's radio studios for interview. Mazzy Star was in Australia playing shows on three consecutive nights at the Sydney Opera House, June 11, 12, and 13, 2018 for the annual Vivid Sydney Festival.
Note there is a second interview with Hope and David conducted in Sydney the same day as this one, but by a different ABC (Double-J internet radio arm) host, Karen Leng. I have upped it to youtube, here:

The other interview, the one with Karen Leng interviewing, is the better interview of the two. This short one with Myf Warhurst at nine minutes long is one third the length of Karen Leng's. Leng's goes in depth on band history and the two interviewees are more talkative with Leng, especially Hope, who is fairly quiet with Myf.
Evidence suggests the Myf interview was conducted first, and the Leng one later the same day. Myf is with Melbourne ABC radio, so maybe her interview was conducted remotely, with Hope and David in the Sydney ABC studio, while Karen Leng's may have been conducted in person in the Sydney studio.
Perhaps doing a longer, in person interview made the two more talkative. And maybe the first interview (with Myf) acted as a warm up for the second, which turned out better. Both interviews are worth hearing, however.

Hope has admitted to be very introvert in other interviews. Relatable. I can understand why it’s difficult to do interviews / public speak. Those who can’t relate, understand that not everyone communicated with words. Her music/voice says enough. It’s beautiful, timeless, essential

I will say it...Sorry Radio Host for their interview skills. These 2 are cheeky artist frpm Cali (But she drank alot of Kool aid in Bay Area) that think they get the joke and no one else does. Sorry for high expectations having to be dropped but thank you for acting as professional as you were!
