He seems like a different singer to be quite honest. That deep, low grumble was what made him awesome and really unique. I honestly can’t say that I dig this new voice. But that’s just my opinion. He’s still a talented man.
Gotta respect the approach . As he said when some people would ask what happened with the old tone was '' I finally learnt how to sing'' . I love the more punchy songs he is putting out and going more in to the classics .

The vocals on all the brewery sessions he was on are self-admittedly forced, and it's not how he plays and sings anymore.
