I was at the stadium yesterday, and holy was that atmosphere great. Sold out stadium, loud and excited fans, great day for rugby. Felt like an international test! Thought the ref was great, and can't believe the comments claiming there should not female refs. Ridiculous, rugby is a game for everyone chaps. Quite a few mistakes from both sides, but that does not take away the moments of magic showcased in the match. Loved how the players came around post-match to clap every fans, loved no booing from the stands throughout the game, and especially loved how the fans would chant Manie whenever a kick game, great encouragement. Wish people would realise how lucky we are to have such a beautiful sport so easily accessible, and that players make mistakes, and that those mistakes do not take away with their talent. Well done Stormers!

I see many of the obvious ref mistakes mentioned in the comments. She also called advantage, and after only 8-9secs she called advantage over, basically mid kick and Stormers lost the ball at a crucial moment. Unfortunately it seems that this game was too much for her to handle. Everyone deserves a chance at the top but I hope this gets reviewed for what it was.

Yes, some mistakes were made by Gelant, some kicks were missed by Manie, and some of the passes were slow from Herschel, but you mustn't only focus on the negatives. Herschel has a world class and stable pass, Manie, as previously stated, has a massive influence on play around the field, and can pen up games so easily with his passes, and Gelant makes moments of magic from nothing, providing a brilliant kick to Senatla for the first try (who also had a barnstorming match). Please my friend, these men should not be villified, for they are not robots, they can make mistakes. Lets back our boys, come on Stormers!

Played it back in super slow mow then stopped it on its trajectory a couple of times. Remember those flagmen are standing underneath and do not have the benefit of following the trajectory. Because it is in line from main pavilion camera it is obvious it missed
