Leon, what a fantastic, concise and educational post. Before I found your video I was subjected to a barrage of US based vids where as being in Australia we obviously are UK based (RHD etc). The two are quite different but more to the point you are an excellent teacher. Thank you very much.
Whilst I have changed pads and discs on my previous cars and as I am about to replace the pads on my son's 2013 A4 its good to have access to this excellent no nonsense video, thank you.
Thanks for this. This brake design is exactly as on my 2010 A5 sports back , there appears to be a bit of variety out there. Good thing you noted the bolts to be 21mm as I tried carefully with a 22mm socket . Stopped the proceedings as they are too tight and need to get a breaker bar first to release them (+ a 21mm socket ;-) ) Thanks !
Best A4 B8 front disc and pads replacement on UA-cam by a long way! Thank you very much 😎

Great video. What amazes me is we can get a full tutorial on how to do it in 20mins yet a mechanic charges 3hrs worth of labor to do it
having done this once myself I now wish I had watched your video first, nicely explained, thank you.
Excellent upload, very detailed. Did my front discs & pads after watching this video. Kudos to you Leon. Top man!
I'm about to start. Nicely done Leon.
