@@suthesounds correct. Our main competitive formats are based on random and improv factors. In this case, the dancers chose their partner ahead of time, but are at the mercy of whatever DJ team chose them and decided to play for them. The dances themselves were improvised on the spot.
@@PhoenixDGrey Nice, I have been into solo dance competitions (improv) for over a decade. But partner improv is a different level of difficulty and creative dopeness. I guess I will be spending more time on youtube looking for these competitions. Thank you for the explanation and showing me a different world of dance.
