I've seen Leo dance with many technically skilled partners. But often he has an edge on them in musicality and showmanship. But not MIa. They're a perfect match and as such this is one of my favourite pairings I've ever seen him in.
I had exact reaction...Leo is a standout that draws the eye...Mia equals him..perfect partners❤❤
This Is only that 3rd video I’ve watched of his and I can already tell he’s got a great ear and can set his partner up to look great all while being cohesive and building on their own style. He could make a beginner look very experienced

I'm trying to understand how they know the steps to make if they are chosen randomly. Are the moves standards and depending on how you hold hands for example it invokes a certain move or is the whole choreography already known by everyone? Cause it seems too perfect to be all improv.
It's basically all improv, as you learn more and more you can read your partner to know where they're going, and a major part of being a lead is "leading" your follow into what you want to do, and what you want them to do. But also at this high of a level, there's a mutual respect that they're both going to add their own flavor and flare so both partners leave room for the other to fully express.

100% improv but must be within WCS which can borrow a lot from other styles.
my understanding is that once they get to this level, they can easily read their partner’s body language within the rules of wcs. but always the leader is directing with his hands, pushing and pulling, and sometimes you can see the follower push back and do their own thing.
