Great shot Jason I was lucky to have one at a Rotary outing at Clandeboy Golf club N Ireland playing with a local news paper publisher Ian Alexander and publican Billy Artt on the 12th hole par 5, I hit a three iron for my second shot which landed on the green then disappeared I thought I had played through the green But Billy Artt went to the pin and there it was in the cup.
Amazing shot. But who really thinks an "albatross" is a better name than the older "double eagle." I would much prefer a double eagle. You get cursed by albatrosses.
I love “Condor” as they are the lathes birds in the world and soar higher than an albatross. I think there has been 1 recorded condor up in LA area golf course on a par 5 or 6 and the golfer hit the asphalt golf cart track that bisected the fairway down hill to get the lucky bounce.
Oh, NICE ALBATROSS!
Not a bad hole to make your first one
Very nice
Correct me if I'm wrong but was that the same pin position of the 08 US Open Sunday?
No I think it was closer to the front
hi dad lol

Not to mention the fact it is also the name of a $20 gold coin worth millions, but illegal to posses as theoretically they were all seized and melted.

“Latches”… meant to type “largest”… my sincerest apologies!
Love the Austrian-Hungarian March “Under the Double Eagle”…should be the unofficial golf anthem.
