- Racing my 2003 C5 Corvette with a BTR stage 3 cam vs my 2023 C8 Corvette with cat delete pipes. The races were 40 and 50 rolls and as you’ll see in the video it didn’t end well…

4:11 the sound may indicate that you need to look into a oil pan upgrade. When going high speeds your oil in the pan gets pushed back from the G force and could be starving the pump.
Don’t forget your riding alone, c8 had a passenger

C8 had a passenger which makes a huge difference. I went from losing to C6 in my c8 to winning big time against the C6 just by removing the passenger.
So stoked to get my cam later this year! Haha

Bullshit if he literally went to jail and the cop, was that pissed to take him to jail, he would’ve impounded the car as well so I called bullshit. And if the car was impounded, he wasn’t clocked at 100 and whatever he literally went to jail for something else then😂

The c8 being mid engine gives it a huge advantage on the track, but in a straight line not so much

@@CodyDriven What's the HP on the C5? I've got a stage 3 xer cam with long headers and tune making 410 hp so far. Only limiting factor is the 4L60E...

We have a C7 and a C5 and there is no way my current C5 is as fast as the C7 much less a C8. What headers and exhaust does your C5 have?
I believe its speed engineering, nothing crazy, just get a BTR stage 3 cam and you’ll be gapping the C7🤣
@@CodyDriven uh, no a C7 makes 400 wheel stock with a manual trans. and has better gearing then a c5. You might get a half a car if you're lucky. BTR is an off the shelf MS3? I made 445 Wheel with a max effort N\A LS6 C5. I have a C7 now and made 448/460 with headers and a tune. Not really informed on C8s but I can tell you the LT-1 makes WAY more torque then the LS1\6. a C7 with light mods is gonna pull on anything that doesn't have a stroker LS2\3 in it sadly.
