Another great pop culture/Americana museum experience. So much cool stuff. I saw nothing I need, but plenty I want. Like that Batman clock, true it was yellowed, but you unlocked that memory of seeing it in catalogs, love it. Thanks Tom!
So glad your Mum bought the dogs - they're gorgeous. Yep re the date stampers - used to use them at work too. What a great market - thanks so much for taking us with you -wish I could zap myself over from Australia! Your flea markets in America are amazing.
Fun video. We live just over the state line about 15 minutes away, so I almost never miss a show. I've been going since I was 12, and that was many moons ago. There are great deals to be had, despite some high prices. We always get there early and bring a picnic lunch, the food is really, really bad and overpriced.
Your videos shows the history of the country. I still can’t get over how much stuff people have. Where do they keep it all? 11:18 I had both the Fisher Price farm and phone. I like seeing the old toys and electronics. Thanks for sharing. Happy New Year to you and your mom Tom.
It's funny, because I collect Uranium glass AND Fiestaware, but I make sure to steer clear of the spicy Fiestaware. The Fiestaware gets daily use, and my wife asked that I not collect the spicy stuff lol (She does check everything that we use actively for lead as well)
This might get me some hate - Brimfield Flea Market has cool stuff and is a fun experience, but as someone who spent years working in a nearby restaurant it was awful when it came into town. Many of the people who frequent the fair (from vendors to regulars) are often SO mean to the locals and strangely enough love to steal. We had to hide ketchup packets, salt, napkin dispensers and anything that wasn't bolted down otherwise they'd go missing (maybe to appear at a future flea market booth) and cutlery was just an expected casualty. This was a phenomenon that occurred specifically 3 weeks each year, year after year ("Flea Week"), and sort of became the cost of doing business during the market and the increased business it brings (which is a good thing). Those days are long behind me, but if you visit the area please be patient and kind to the local businesses and staff - many of them are doing their best with the same resources they have the other 49 weeks each year.
Generally when you see a booth with a fifty percent off sign they usually have the prices marked way high to begin with... In the collector world that is known as a fake out sell. Just a heads up. Love your channel and never miss a video!!!
hey Tom love the videos!!! i was born in 1974 so it was cool to some of these items from that time. Also a lot of times u pick up things i like to. when were you born 76??
I live in Monson (next town going west) and frequent Brimfield. These videos are interesting! One suggestion I would make is that you mention the name of the field that you’re in, just in case someone wanted to check out these vendors; they do change from year to year but some are constant!
@ makes sense! It’s so easy to get pulled in several directions! Sometimes I’ve seen something I wanted to see again and can’t remember where I saw it. Luckily if I take a picture my phone can show me where it was if I look at the information 🤣
It's winter here in my area. There are no outdoor flea markets between the end of November and late March. Would you prefer no flea market videos all winter? Also, what does it matter when it was filmed? How does that change anything? You also of course realize that most movies and television shows are filmed months or years before they are aired, right? Your negativity is getting tiresome.
@@fleabittenadventures Simmer down now champ, you seem to be reading many things into my Comment. Every second comment you make you are asking people to put their thoughts in the comments section and then get all huffy when they do. Thank you for another awesome Brimfield Video!!

The selection at Brimfield is overwhelming, but that's a good thing. Thanks for watching!
This is video is just what I needed to watch, thank you 😊

As always great video 👍
Thanks! I appreciate it!
I've been wanting to go to that flea market, but I would go broke in 10 minutes. 😍. That coral Westinghouse radio was beautiful. 🧡
Yes, that Westinghouse radio was really cool! I don't think I've seen another radio that color before!
@@fleabittenadventures It reminded my of my Grandmother's radio she listened to every morning. Her's was teal color, but pretty much the same radio. 🩵
I'm Irish. I am totally enjoying this channel so much. Subscribed. Sad to see a lot of your malls declining though. Nice Gremlins lunch box 😂💖
I'm glad you enjoyed the video! Thanks for watching!

I may do that in the future. Tha ls for watching.
Ótimo vídeo sou no Brasil

@ thanks
My family had one of those KMart S Four Thousand video game consoles before I got an Atari 2600. We had hours of fun playing on that KMart console.
I'll have to look into it further. I'm not even sure what the games look like. I'm assuming Atari 2600 level.

True, but their prices seemed reasonable, especially at 50% off. I was happy with what I paid.

A C Peterson's farm was in Bloomfield.
There were a few locations. I think the only location left is in West Hartford, but i could be wrong.
I live in the next town over. The traffic for these flea markets is insane. I hate it hahahaha.
Cool video though
Especially since they made rt20 2 lanes instead of 4. Terrible idea.
Thanks! Sometimes traffic isn't too bad, but yes it's usually crazy.

Good suggestion. I'll see what I can do, but I hate to admit I'm not always paying attention to the name of the field.

I would have bought the Batman clock 👍
😎
Thanks for watching!
