For this list, we’re taking a look at the worst PlayStation games that launched in their respective years between 2000 and 2021. Do note that we’re prioritizing games that released exclusively on PlayStation hardware or, at the very least, launched there first before migrating to other platforms. Our list includes "Kanck" (2013), "Lair" (2007), "Mortal Kombat: Special Forces" (2000), "The Inpatient" (2018), and more! Have you played any of these games? To be honest secret agent clank was a good and reliable game it was my first time playing a rachet and clank game and now I finish rachet and clank rift apart and that game was fun 😏

That what I thought I never play knack or maybe I did play the demo probably wasn't into it as much as the next person but I heard knack is one the best games on ps so me seeing this on this list evening surprised me. Everything else I get it or maybe I get it but knack. Wow.

Glad to see so many comments supporting Knack. I also thought it was a lot of fun and played it all the way to the end. Sure the narrative and characters were silly but the gameplay was actually really engaging -ie it was fun to play! Give it another shot, WM!
Knack was actually good… It had a pretty well structured story. The whole situation with the Goblins and their artifacts - that of course clashing with man and such.

Honestly, when it comes to Knack I actually really liked it and what it was trying to do... even if it felt clunky in places. Heck I'm awaiting the third game, even if its unlikely, and would love for it to see the light of day one day.

Played it 3 months ago - 6/10 for gameplay, 10/10 for visuals, 3/10 for story (because I just cant hear that "I`m so sorry!" line any more times).

Never been happier to see all this knack love in the comments. It was the first game i got on my ps4 when i was 14. Being young, it took me until recently to pick it back up and finally platinum it 4 years later. I wouldnt say it was the worst game of that year. Good animation throughout as well as a structured and simple to understand storyline. Was also challenging in some areas but not so hard you felt like giving up or so easy you felt like it was wasting time.
I mean knack wasn’t going to change the world but it was a decent game

Was Predator Hunting Grounds really that bad?? Id say massively disappointing but im sure there were worse games that came out in 2020

I actually like predator hunting grounds it was a bit disappointing but still pretty good, graphics are nice same with the controls.
@@Signal_---lost Well some other critics and gamers are a little too merciless to the game because some content should have been there and apparently being in the jungle too much is a bit boring and only one mode might even prevent some people to even buy this

Knack is such an easy target, but if you played it, it is actually a solid platformer. The story is forgettable, but the gameplay is fun and addictive. People shouldn't just believe all the hate.

Thought knack would be a game u can sit and casually play. Then realized you actually had to try. That game got hard lol. I enjoyed it!

I fully disagree with the choice of knack... It was an AWESOME game I loved every minute of it. Yes it was a bit frustrating too fully upgrade knack for the diamond challenges but overall it was a fantastic game.
Ape escape is also a great game. But I never played it on the psp so im sure it wasn't good on there.
While On The Loose is definitely not the greatest Ape Escape game out there, it's not exactly fair to call it the worst PS game of the year. And Pumped & Primed absolutely doesn't belong on this list. Find some actual gamers to play and review games for the channel, then try again.
Ok but Secret Agent Clank was ICONIC and I have so many great memories playing it on the PSP
meh, I hated it myself...though I played it and Size Matters on PS2. IMO the worst games in the franchise, and the only 2 I never finished ( aside from Rift Apart, which I can't wait to get a damn PS5 to play ). Size Matters was just aggravatingly hard for no reason and Secret Agent Clank just wasn't remotely fun in any way beyond the occasionally funny quip.

I'd recommend trying Destruction AllStars, especially with the HUGE update that was just released today (January 26th). It feels like a new game!

I didn't know people didn't like Dirge Of Cerberus, so it might be a hot take but I thought it was a great game, one of my faves I had on my PS2, and I though Knack was really popular? I feel like those 2 don't belong here but maybe I'm wrong and in the minority
My brother was pretty damned good at Dirge. Like, infuriatingly so. He made it look easy compared to when I played it.
Are you aware the game had mouse and keyboard support on the PS2? I've heard it turns the game into a genuinely stellar shooter.

I remember a friend of mine had a celebrity death match and we would spend hours playing that game and fighting with each other because Busta Rhymes was such a broken character.
I wouldn't say Predator Hunting Ground is awful but I just wished the game had a campaign mode.
I STRONGLY disagree with ape escape pumped & Primed's placement. Sure it's not perfect but to call it the "worst PlayStation game of 2004" seems to harsh. The controls were at their best, the character roster was diverse and interesting, the vast majority of the minigames were very great with only a being below average, and the stroy, characters, and ESPECIALLY the music were amazing.
I STRONGLY disagree with ape escape on the loose placement. I had hours of fun playing that game and I remember going on a road trip with my family to arizona and I played ape escape on the loose the whole way there
Personally I like ape escape on the loose. It was one of my favorite psp games. The controls were a little weird but that was to be expected

i remember playing knack with my father it was one of the best times of my life its a fun game
2002: This was released on the PS1, in 2002. The same year as Super Mario Sunshine and The Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker. Heck, even Spyro 3 and Crash Bandicoot Warped looked better than this. And those games were released prior to this one and the latter was only developed in 10 months!
That's not even counting the sound balancing, it'll have loud, abrasive sound effects overlap with each other, hope your ears don't bleed.
2007: Sony even sent out manuels for how to review the game. OK, that's just an arrogant way of saying you won't admit you made a bad game!
2017: I hope the devs got sued.
2019: What's more, just look at the travesty that is it's trailer. It is somehow both pretentious AND lazy at the same time, jus- HOW DO YOU DO THAT?!!! Because the trailer is just still camera shots of the game with NOTHING HAPPENING! No gameplay, no narration, no context or information given in regards to what the game is about, there isn't even any music!
Seems like someone who either doesn’t play many video games or just started playing video games made this list. There are a lot worse games out there.

I have to disagree about putting Knack in there, Knack 2 wasn't as good but still enjoyable if you want a chilled out game. I have completed it many, many times.

-Aside from the roster that doesn't even have certain beloved Playstation icons like Crash Bandicoot, Spyro, or Cloud Strife, the game itself is very unbalanced. With Kratos being overpowered to an extreme and the devs made the questionable (and incredibly STUPID) decision to ONLY KO OPPONENTS VIA SUPER MOVES! That's like if you could ONLY USE FINAL SMASHES in Smash Bros to KO opponents.
*The Order: 1886
-Too short to justify a full price and it's too slow paced and QTE heavy.
*Skylight Freerange 2 Gachduine
-OH. MY. F&@$NUGGETS! Hold my multiverse-sized beer, Watchmojo. If you think you can talk smack about modern games having "bad graphics." Hand over your gamercard because you don't know jack until you've seen the awful graphics of Skylight Freerange 2 Gachduine! Even by PS1 Standards these graphics are primitive and atrocious! And this was released on the PS4, in 2014, the same year as The Evil Within, Bayonetta 2 and Dark Souls 2, which were superior in every single way, INCLUDING in the graphics department!

I'm sorry but I was always into the ff7 story and seeing/playing Dirg of Cerberus with Vincent to technically learn more about him aside from the small bit we got when it was in original 7, was intriguing to me and I enjoyed for what they tried. The combat was expected but they did make it at least interesting in my personal prefernce.
Also Knack was actually always a interesting game.
I am also into the FFVII story which is why I hate DOC.

When the narrator said Mortal Kombat had gone through a rough patch because of Mortal Kombat Mythologies Sub-Zero & Mortal Kombat 4, I agree wholeheartedly with the former, but not so much with the latter. I found Mortal Kombat 4 to be actually fun when I played it so much as a kid.

The biggest issue with Lair is they added the Analog support after the damage was done. A shame too, because that one change made the game much better to play, I even managed to finish it
My only complaint about Knack was that in 2 player mode, it was poorly inclusive of whoever was player 2, only player 1 got to do all the cool stuff. All player 2 did was just fight bad guys, but never unlocked abilities or anything cool

History has forgotten Mobile Suit Gundam: Crossfire, the game that made the PS3 a joke at launch. That was infinitely worse than FF7: Dirge of Cerberus, and up there with Sonic 06 - which released the same year - and Superman 64 in the list of 'worst games of all time.'
