3:19 you only get that second free shot when it's your first. Helldivers always have one in the chamber essentially making your very first shot free. Not as noticeable with bigger mags but makes a huge difference with guns that are single shot like the grenade pistol.
we weed more weapons like the granade pistol, this item by itself made alot more builds very viable specially comboing stun nades

Heavy armor with explosion resist, ballistic shield, defender smg, senator revolver and AMR is pretty fun vs automatons. You have close and long range relatively covered, you can deal with Devastators at all ranges and with hulks at long range (though you need to aim true) and it's just silly when the so scary heavy devastator walks up to you only to get a single pop in the face with the revolver.
Everything is covered only if you are not playing at helldiver difficulty. With this build, you cant kill rocket & shiled devistators, 1 hulk and maybe with a tank ... And you know at helldivers difficulty they came up with a group. And in this video i cant see any moment that you fought against a large portion of enemy like which i mentioned.
Not one devastator, tank and only a single hulk on Helldive difficulty? What’s the point of this build if not to showcase against those targets?
3:03 Devestator... 9:30 hulk... and I always avoid them when I have a chance :D i play stealthy when needed im not gunna rush a hulk for a hug when I see one :D there is a reason automatons have a tougher time seeing us as we break line of sight its an intended mechanic and I use that :D

Why are you attempting to use a pistol against a tank or hulk?😂
if you want more versatility you can swap the Quarz cannon with the Ani-material sniper~ it goes perfectly with this combo!

They should absolutely implement loadout save slots. Deep Rock Galactic does a great job with this, though it took time for them to fully implement it as well

Laser Cannon over Quasar for the simple fact that it makes air ships a breeze. Laser cannon is getting slept on. It’s also amazing for factory striders.

This build indeed looks fun. Back in my younger days I used to love using the defender submachine gun. It's really fun to use. I'm excited to get back in and give this build a try!

There’s a leaked plasma pistol in the same style as the scorcher and it’s gonna be so much fun with the ballistic shield!!

Been using this build since the heavy armor buff and ballistic shield fix/buff. Pretty hard to die to bots with the exception of flamethrower hulks, Nice to see the play style spread. Though, I use Las Cannon or Quasar depending on the mission type, and I dont use the orbital laser, its nice but only 3 uses max per mission? Nah. I prefer other options, just as effective but without such limitations.

Rail strike
Cluster bomb or ems / gas strike
Has more survivability.
Also swap between the super earth armour because the higher chance to survive explosive death.
Or my personal favourite light armour. I forgot what its called but has the same armour rating as medium with the 100 rating , speed 550 , stamina regen 125

this is literally my build since they buffed the ballistic shield. for the new defense mission i like running both mortars instead of laser and 500.

Been practicing with the ballistic shield. One of those OP pics after u get past the learning curve very good option for automatons right now if your tired of the shield backpack

yes it does!
Yes, it has its own hitbox, but also its own HP and can break with enough punishment (esp explosions). Luckily it's on a shorter CD than most support/backpack strats
I've used this quite a bit, altho i never thought to use groundbreaker, if im feeling like being faster in this build i use Exterminator, its the same armor as the Heavy armor (30% from crouch/prone, 50% explosion resist) but its medium., which honestly i prefer over the heavy in most cases.
helldive difficulty in your videos is looking like level 7 diff on PC. Literally something's off for diff on PS5
I was think the same thing yesterday but about PC videos of Helldive diff 9 looking like diff 5 on ps5. You shoot 1 thing on ps5 and you're surrounded by 100 units in 30secs.. where as i watched a PC guy run around the map solo, shot heavys... never once saw a drop ship.. That never happens.. and they dont lose track of you, what? They freakn shoot you across the map thru mountains and shit lol... idk what some people are on, but diff 9 is not this easy in my games. Stealthy or not :/
ya because I dont fight everything and avoid what doesnt need fighting :D Iplay on BOTH and there is 0 difference

It completely makes sense, CoD started doing this many years ago to be more "realistic" to actual firearms.
In combat, no you dont load your round then load your mag, but in a firing range, yes, you do. It's a function every firearm has. Except revolvers, youd have a hard time loading up an extra round in a 44 magnum, without it exploding in your hands lol

oh so the shield is in the backpack slot? thought it was the support weapon but you can carry that and the quasar

Heavy armor vs bots? Nah mate. That’s trolling. Bots, moreso than bugs, is about running. Interesting video otherwise. Feel like you got kinda lucky there. Diff 9 and faced very few devastators and lots of trash bots that are easily killed by the SMG.
the reason i faced less is cause i use radar and avoid them, many players fight everything but if u play it smart its really easy vs automatons
Strange take. Bugs are all about running and keeping distance. If you can do that, there isn't much they can do to you. The melee bots are fewer & slower than the melee bugs. The heavy bots are much slower than the heavy bugs. With bots, armor helps a good deal against all the random laser & missile fire flying at you, from great distances. Plus, when you're using Ballistic Shield, the play style is much more stationary. It's about picking your battles, cover positioning, avoiding being flanked. If you need to run, you have the shield on your back or to your left side for defense, but you just don't need to run around in combat as much as vs bugs, in general.
