The water shoot was my Favourite ride growing up, they can never get rid of that ride!

The water chute opened in 1926 and is now a listed structure, designed and built by Charles wicksteed it's one of only 3 the others at peasholm park , Scarborough and one at hull. It was completely refurbished in late 1990's with new boat, track and push button operation , originally it had levers and clutch. Also the railway is the most popular 2 foot guage in the UK.The wave swinger replaced the only double pirate ship in UK which closed in 2016 due to high maintenance costs,galaxy invaders is from Barry's amusements,NI.Finally the pinfari coaster was close to permanent closure as it stood for 2 years because of covid and administration as wasn't in good condition but gladly they invested and rebranded it
The water shoot has been there for years. My grandfather used to maintain and it and worked in the park during the 50s.

The chute boat jump was rebranded to this type of water ride I liked it when the boats were individual and you get the jump into water that was much fun.
