Volume is fine. there was a little hiccup in the first part with the picture, but looks and sounds great. I saw this years ago - but I'm glad that I came back to it.
The Hustler!! That was a really great movie!! Perfectly cast!! They're are so many omens written in, intermittently, that I've lost count. The child's balloon bursting, that was one! The Car Accident that was unexpected, another one. What a GREAT MOVIE!!

But if you have your computer hooked up to a good set of speakers, like myself, you can control - and raise - the volume level via the speakers. I remember this movie!! 8 saw this on TCM back when 8 had cable! Here it is!! I never saw the very beginning 9f this movie. I only saw it once and that was about 10 years ago! I figured I'd see it again, but for some reason..anyhow!! This is a gift! Me, finding this in a Noir Movie Group!! This is just wonderful!! EVERY SINGLE ACTOR is cast PERFECTLY fir their roles!! This should have won an Oscar!! SO MANY really GREAT MOVIES wee explorations into the Psyche of DESPERATION and ACKNOWLEGMENT
All the levels of Desperations that every character faces..Cat on A hot tin roof, Man with the Golden Arm are just SOME of my favorites..I know that the Paul Newman movie that I just named was based on a PLAY.
One small.thing I keep wondering, you see how he treats his dog? That's why he dosent have one..the scene is in the very beginning. It almost flew over my head!
Another movie I've never seen is the one with Tony Cutis and Sidnet Poitier. There two prisoners that absolutely hate each other and they're chained together!! Great plot, it's supposed to be really good, bit I forgot the name if it, just like I did with this particular movie!!!
