Yes, crazy! Plus when I went to their site, there was a $100 off button, but it didn't actually work. In the chat they told me they must have forgotten to remove that button, and the offer is no longer available. That's false advertising. So I basically helped them improve their erroneous site, and yet they didn't honor the offer. Shady company.
@flow.3411 That's sad. Abelton has great Bass instruments that I used in my Diploma of Electronic Music Production assessments and applied Drum bus and EQ8 and made my own Reese Bass
Hey guys, amazing video! for sure will take a look specially to Musicfy and Soundful! A question out of the topic, my attention was caught by the way your third party plugins are visible in Ableton! Is that som beta version or special update as you can see the GUI of the third party plugins (such as decapitator, valhalla reverb, etc) right there at the bottom strip? Thanks!!
dude wtf at 10:25 how did you set your vahalla and soundboy plugins to show the actual gui in the track plugin chain area instead of the standard grey box?
i love where this is going. i think it would be great if we reached the state when a human being great at something specific could use AI to fill in the rest. specifically in music - if you're a performer, you have AI to make music for you, if you're great at just coming up with melodies, it would create chord progressions to them, etc. on a wider scale, if you're great at music, AI could provide options for the different visuals.
Yeah but if you look 5-10 years further, you'll discover that there are no things which human makes better and faster than AI and it will displace people from all spheres. I already don’t understand why study music or art now if AI does not leave a place for humans in these creatures in the near future
Cognitone Synfire version 2 or RapidComposer version 5 I think. There is also OrbComposer and another couple of tools out there which generate MIDI which is importance since you can then edit later on. With audio you'd have to use what has been provided and cannot use your own instruments...
What about licensing law on these platforms? Or does the combination of different tools in a song and the fine-tuning afterwards (as you showed) mean that you don't have any problems with it anyway? I would really like to use tools like this in combination with an electric violin that I‘ll play. However, I don't want to have any problems when I publish it on the various social media platforms and Spotify. I would be happy for an assessment. :)
Splice stacks feels like it wouldn't benefit much from AI, and there have been discussions on whether unison bass dragon is actually AI. Definitely worth making sure that your AI tool isn't fake or a gimmick. Still, the vocals one seems awesome
Why do you not mention that you have a referral link for Unison Bass Dragon? If you're being sponsored by them, that feels like something you should mention.
I'm a singer songwriter but have no equipment to record what I want in the style I want. I have all the parts for all my songs on midi. I want somewhere that I can upload it and it puts nice virtual instrument sounds on and balances and cleans everything. So yeah, like a virtual producer. Are there any AI platforms which would do this? I've been asking in physical studios but everything is way out of my budget. Any advice would be greatly appreciated! 🙏
So glad I can record my own stuff with my H6 and also having access to a commercial recording studio to record in. I'd hate to rely on splice or arcade for "my sound". Just gives me peace of mind that no one else has them. Yeah it is easier to use ready made samples etc... but your music won't stand out and guessing by the sheer amount of ppl making their own music these days, a lot more ppl will know how a track was made and where sound sources have come from. Bit like ppl trying to pass off a bunch of apple loops as their own work really.
Hi Hyperbits! I have a question - let's say I'm stuck and can't finish my track. Is it possible to upload a part of my track to Soundful so that it will generate some melodies on top or melody progressions to develop my musical idea further? Or it only allows to create melodies from assigned parameters from scratch ?
I don’t know, i wanna make my music, it’s not like ai is gonna patch my modular system or make drum patterns on my physical drum machines. I still think ai is stupid af. If you need it, maybe you shouldn’t be a musician. Humanity!
Who said AI was going to patch a physical modular system? It’s just a midi generator, they’ve been around for ages anyway. Most tb303 vst plugins have had randomizes for a while now, and even the original tb303 could randomize the sequencer it’s exactly the same thing . And as for drum machines there are software sequencers that can randomize output into a drum machine and they also have been around for time and used a lot by professional producers for inspiration. U should know this being such an amazing musician
Anyone using these AI tools must be so proud themselves for their creativity! And all the time that it saves, you can just go back to watching TV or looking at your phone much quicker than before! Than when you actually had to spend time coming up with your own ideas!
Where's the creativity? Using AI is being a lazy producer. Having sounds created for you is not how music production should be done. You can't call yourself a music producer, but just a music sample arranger.
Some would say the creativity comes with what's next after using AI to give inspiration. Do you consider Quincy Jones a producer? Or did he just arrange Michael Jackson?
@@Hyperbits Yes that is true. However I still believe that being a producer is to use one's imagination to put something down on a blank canvas. Using AI in creating music makes so Many producers sound the same as the next one. There is very few who give the industry a totally unique style of sound.
Did not really see much that was amazing or interesting enough to try the software. The final product was not close to being as good as human production. I dont mind AI, but this was not a convincing example.
