      Hello! Great review. QQ: Have you tried it during cool weather and if so did it keep the heat inside with heaters?

    Thank you so much for this comprehensive and extremely engaging video. Although you wore a mask, your confidence and smile shined through. Being camera shy is something that I hope you will get over soon, I get it. Keep up the great work, I will certainly subscribe to your channel and am looking forward to more camping reviews!

      @Honeysuckle V Aww thank you so much for such a sweet comment, I really appreciate it, and your sub as well! It means so much 🥰 I didn't think I looked confident but I'm really glad that you think so! I'm thinking of not wearing a mask for videos in the future because I sometimes get flak for it, but it's so nerve wracking though :(

    If you do an accordion fold similar to how sailors flake a sail using one of the pole sections as a measuring stick, you can fold it to the size of the bag and not have to struggle as much with pushing out air and when unpacking, just grab the top edge and pull it out. It does take two people to coordinate the measured fold at both ends, but it's easily coordinated after a couple times. I have the same design tent buy provided by Glacier's Edge. Only issue with rain was that the sidewall pockets wicked in water through the mid height wall seam. I'm sure that once I do some seam sealing. There will be no issues. In one campout, it rained pretty much all day and all night. We used a towel to soak up water at the pocket locations occasionally and was able to stay perfectly dry.

      Thank you Jason! I've actually never folded any of my tents like that, so thank you so much for pointing that out! I'll definitely try it out next time 😊 Ooh yeah and pocket seams are definitely an issue sometimes, I've actually been through that issue on multiple tents. Works fine after some seam sealing for sure! Thanks for your comment and for sharing Jason, really appreciate it 😊

    I LOVE how thorough your videos are. Would this tent fit inside a suitcase, I'm going to a festival in Europe..

      Thank you so much Luis! I'm glad you liked all the details in my videos, that means a lot :) The packed size dimensions of this Core 10P Tent is 29 by 16 by 12 inches. 10P tents are really quite big, and they don't fit into any suitcase that I have. Hope this helps!

    Nice video, can you maybe place the door zippers at the top of the door, like most people would, so that they will be way closer to the rainfly and more than likely less inclined to leaking. It only makes sense that where the zippers come together wont seal efficiently enough to be water tight. The zippers closer, even possibly covered by the rain fly, would be much better protected from the rain.

      Hi there! Thank you so much for the comment and the input. 😊 that’s definitely the way too go for sure. I realized that after testing more and more tents 😅 I didn’t previously camp in heavy rain so I didn’t know that earlier 😅 thank you so much for the explanation! That definitely makes a lot of sense for sure.

    Your videos are very helpful! Have you done a video for 10 person tents that are best for cold weather?

    • @CampingGuidance
      @CampingGuidance  2 роки тому +1

      Hey there Emme, I'm really glad that you like my videos! 😊 Unfortunately I don't have any experience camping in cold weather at the moment, so sorry about that. But I don't think that any of these 10 person tents would be great in cold weather because there's a lot of ceiling mesh, which won't be able to keep in the warm air (I think!)

    Can you test the Core 12 tent?

    • @CampingGuidance
      @CampingGuidance  Рік тому

      Thanks for the suggestion Agape! Unfortunately I'm not sure that I'd be able to do this, because now shipping and import taxes are taking a huge toll on my budget, sadly :( I used to be able to get really cheap shipping from a specific company, so I could ship in all these huge tents, but they've closed down their service, so I haven't been able to ship in any big tents since. I will in the future, if I've got more of a budget and avenues for cheaper shipping! 😊

      @CampingGuidance  Рік тому

      @Prod 𝙉𝙞𝙢𝙗𝙪𝙨 Oh man I'm so sorry to hear that! Did you stake it down and guy it out completely? But that tends to be one of the issues of cabin tents, their near vertical sides tend to trap a lot of wind and act like sails :(

    It is about time tent companies were honest. YEs you could fit 10 people in - it would be unusable as that as your review pointes out there is no space left for any personal items or cooking / relaxing.

    • @CampingGuidance
      @CampingGuidance  2 роки тому

      Hi Pam, thanks for sharing! I guess that's the standard that tent companies usually stick to, at least for all the tents that I've tested so far. So I guess when we buy tents, we just keep in mind to drop the number by 2-4, or maybe more :)

      Yay!!! Is this the tent that you're thinking of buying? I think it's a great summer tent, but definitely can't be used in winter though. It's the tallest tent (90 inches) that I've tested so far! 😊

      @@CampingGuidance yes, I was looking at the 16x11 … In order to have company with me.. I have to do “ Glamping” lol
      Hey you should do some GLAMPING videos 😳😳
      With your attention to detail.. I’m pretty sure you can decorate tents 🏕️ for different moods / settings ( family get together, camping in the woods, beach 🏝️) all types of way to make a tent a home away from home!!!!!
      That would be awesome
