Addie was the first book I read this year and I ADORED it! Definitely something I will go back to reread. I really loved ADSOM as well, what a fantastic trilogy. I want to read her middle grade book as well.
I’ve got to agree, Addie was AMAZING. 💙 City of Ghosts is wonderful so I hope you enjoy the series too! Her books all have different scopes and flavours.
I love V.E Schwab, I started off will gallant cause my friend got it me for my birthday, she said “the cover looked cool” (can you tell she’s not a reader) but I fell in love with the book and read it in a a few hours. Then I found vicious and vengeful , the shades of magic trilogy and then invisible life of addie LaRue. Addie larue is one of my favourite books I love the characters and how it explores time and memory. I recommended it to my friend and she loved it aswell. Great video!
VE Schwab is definitely one of my favorite authors! You did a great job breaking down her work. For some reason I always forget about This Savage Song so I haven’t read it yet and I need to!!
This video was great! Very comprehensive and you really highlighted the elements of Schwab's writing that you're drawn to and what you think she does particularly well. And thanks for linking my author spotlight posts. :) I tried to read Darker Shade of Magic a few years ago and couldn't finish it because I disliked Lila a lot. I put it on my Come Back Later shelf, though, because I liked the concept. Also my brother ended up trying it after me and managed to finish the series and he enjoyed it. It might be time to me to go back and try it again.
Hello! I've read the monsters of verity duology 2 years ago and now I've decided to collect all of her books. Love this video and how you explained each of her books. So excited to read all of them.
I started with A Darker Shade of Magic before moving onto The Invisible Life of Addie LaRue and recently I read Vicious, I like her writing style and the premises of her novels. I need to check out some more like This Savage Song... thanks for the overview..
I love all of Schwab's books so much! And if I remember correctly Vicious and Vengeful are adult not YA :D
I loved her on writing excuses and wanted to read something by her for a long time. Thanks for this overview.

Thank you so much! I hope you enjoy TSS. :D
Immensely helpful to me, thank you! I am someone who owns all of Schwab’s books sure that I’ll love them, but now overwhelmed about where to start!
She just keeps pumping them out, too! Give it a week and this video will be outdated. 😂 (Good luck!)

Of course! Thank you for the inspiration. 🥰 Yeah I can see how you’d dislike her, she’s rather divisive!

Saw someone recommending Vicious and honestly loved it more than Addie Larue
