Holy moly the wind!!! This a fantastic video. How amazing to be so close to these bears. I still can't get over the wind. Seeing in the video is one thing, but you did such an amazing job of catching it in the still image. Love you guys!!!
HI Ron, it's Shiela. Thanks so much for your very kind words!! The wind howled like crazy that day. It had rained three straight weeks in Alaska prior to us even getting to Katmai National Park. But by the time we got there, we were only dealing with "remnants" of their storm - remnants of course meant 60 - 70/hr winds, LOL. We were so lucky to encounter that little family. Hoping all the best for Mom and Junior. Kisses to SHMrs Rigdon. We love you too.
