That's basically how betting works for everything, you never have certainty of the results.
@@josevitorino1533 except it doesn’t usually take as long as an hour and a half (not including things like lottery since you do other things whilst waiting for the result instead of just ‘watching the wheel spin’)

Betting on CPUs in any game is just incredibly entertaining. You never know what’s gonna happen.

@@Crabgar Same; doesn't have to be high stakes to be entertaining. The prize could literally be a pizza or something and it'd still be fun to watch. Even no stakes at all and just 4 dudes ranting at AI's making dumb decisions is still fun to watch
Alpharad and Smallant have the same ridiculously high luck stat. If you invite either one to a game of chance, let alone BOTH OF THEM, you get exactly what you deserve.

It's hilarious how obvious the rubber banding is in this game lol
In games like Mario Kart CPUs would slow down a bit and it's not too noticeable but here it's just "Hey I see the hole but I'm just going to put 30 degrees to the right anyway :)"
It's not really rubber banding lol
They just kinda make dumb plays like that on occasion so as to not constantly be perfect.
They don't really account for how good you're doing. Sometimes they pull this even if you're winning hard
@@Robbie_Haruna I was assuming based on the observation that it's always the CPU in the lead that is throwing the match. I don't have the game (nor do I want it) so I can't confirm it.
@@GyroCannon I mean King Bob-omb took an early lead and held onto it for a long time.
Rubber Banding also isn't usually applied between CPUs, like in Mario Kart rubber banding is done based on how good the human player is doing.

If there was rubber banding I don't think we'd see any clutch chip ins from these CPUs, they'd probably play a lot more consistently bad.

34:13 bowser has the second best driver normally but king bob-omb has the best driver normally whilst being the slowest character overall in speed golf.
I love the contrast between King Bob-omb golfing with one hand and Toad jumping when he swings.
Lesson in case it comes in handy later: never bet against alpharad
unless a player 4 Ness is in the ranks.

CPU plays so sporadic...either shoots awful or straight in hole
To be fair, Luigi was having a lot of trouble trying to win while doing something, but he had to in order to make it fair for the other competitors.
