Some of them were just really not preferable to get for the sake of time, such as herding sheep, but others are impossible at the stage of the game within the mechanics of the challenge, such as hint art moons (you have to beat the game first) and the last moons CJ got in snow kingdom, since they would have soft-locked him from the run.

No Its Actually the best way to do it because "UA-camr" speaks to A Wider Audience And the Ppl who Know Smallant would click it anyway regardless of the Title
Some moons require progress farther into the game (such as some hint art being in moon kingdom, making those moons impossible to get). Talkatoo can only give hints to three moons at a time, so if all three of those moons turn out impossible, and there are no story moons left to find (story moons are moons that progress the game through its story) then this ends in a Softlock, therefore losing a lot of time.
For some of them you need to be in other kingdoms and come across a painting, others you need to complete the game by making the moon box thingies throw out more moons
All moons are technically “possible”, but some are hint arts, which are in other kingdoms. Other moons are just moons that are just really slow, and they really don’t want to do them.
