Ok I will. The fuel filter is combine with the fuel pump so you need to remove the fuel pump. This particular car doesn't have a external fuel filter like some German cars but I can make a video about it. Thanks for recommending that.
Hello, my car starts all right and runs fine while it's in park. When I put it in drive it goes OK but when I step on the gas it doesn't have power like it used to. It's a 2004 hyundai santa fe 2.7. Do you think it might be the fuel pump that went bad in it. It has almost 200000 miles in it and ran really good until now. I've had the spark plugs and the wires changed but it didn't help it. I'd really appreciate any suggestions I could get.
Hi, Its not the fuel pump. I don't know what other problems your car have. A check engine light with codes or test drive will tell me more but what I think it could be is the throttle body needs cleaning, dirty engine air filter, evaporative system leak or bad catalytic converter, just old engine or transmission for that mileage.
@@LanceLotSpot ok, thanks a lot for that, you just saved me a couple hundred dollars. 🙂 If you could tell me just one more thing please, could it be that the transmition oil is low or high? It's very hard to tell on that stick. I just drove the car for a couple of miles, and sometimes it won't change gear from second to third. Otherwise it ran pretty good this time. It hasn't been driven for a week or so.
@@silviabayer1213 no problem, that's the reason I'm making videos🙏 please subscribe to support me. So you should have a check engine light on and if not you will later. I had similar problem and it was a sensor underneath the engine that I replaced which fixed the problem. I'm sorry I can't remember the sensor exact name now, I will have to tell you sometime tomorrow once I remember. It's definitely not the transmission oil being low or too full.
Hello, I took a look at my eBay transactions just to make sure I was telling you the right sensor to replace. The sensor is crank position sensor. The sensor is located under the car on the engine front right facing the engine near the knock sensor. I had replaced this part back before I started making car repair videos which is reason I don't have a video of it on my channel. The sensor cost $11.29 on ebay. Hope replacing it solves your problem.
Good
do a video on how to check the fuel rail pressure & changing the fuel filter
