Regarding uniqueness, for many years I was the only Erik Siers, spelled exactly that way, in the world. But a few years ago I found a teen in England with the same name. So even if your name is unique(-ish) now, it might not remain so.
There’s a popular TikToker who has a person impersonating her on facebook. She deactivated her instagram and TikTok because the fake account kept using her pics and videos. Me and a lot of other people are reporting the fake account which has 41k followers but facebook doesn’t remove the fake account. What else can we do?
Same! My monetized TikTok videos (almost 50k followers there) are being stolen and uploaded to Facebook by an impersonator. They're even taking videos that have a disclaimer on them and "their followers" STILL think it's me. I've turned off downloads, but that doesn't stop them from getting the videos and removing the watermark. I'm at my wits end...

Yup it’s been 2 weeks and I have reported about 8 fake Facebook pages of me. No word from Meta yet and the pages are still there.

I tried to do this 4/27/24, but this option was not available. IE, selecting the ellipsis ... yielded the single option of "block."

i am not hearing from Facebook. Someone set up a fake account impersonating me. Facebook does not respond

I can't find the fake account even though my friends are saying they've had a friend request from me. What do I do if I can't find the fake account?
Nothing. Make sure your friends are reporting it, though.
I've also done it from the actual friend request that was sent to my account
