In Canada, wearing shoes in someone's home is a big no no - not just an eastern thing. But yes, some western cultures don't care about outdoor shoes inside, fr some reason...
.You can't enter the house with shoes because how much dirt is out there, you carry it to the house, we never step on the carpet with shoes, it's more important😂🤣..We love Turkish customs and rules
You are right about young tourists getting taken for a ride, however, I and my wife were disabled and they went out of their way to take care of us and make sure we were taken care of. Young kids wanting to have fun will be taken for a ride. LOVE TURKEY, and the people.

Turkish guys telling Pakistan's about bargaining who learn this skill, from their mothers in their childhood, who are considered master in this field. if anyone tells us price is 150 lira we starts from 10 lira and than final deals is on between 15 to 20 lira that too if we are lone but with ladies it's going to be exactly 10 liras otherwise move forward 😂😂😂😂
I found out through a DNA test that I am 20% Turkish. So funny, I've always loved things Turkish and and Turkish-like; love these videos: Can't wait to visit!
@Knight Rider So, you're saying that Turks don't have common DNA? What exactly are you saying besides being annoying by disagreeing with what I said when I wasn't even talking to you.
Turks r mongolian they belong to mongolia, and they attacked armenian and greeck land to build there own country there so there's nothing called original turk!
@@suils6191 Turks are NOT Mongolian. Look at a picture of a Mongolian and look at a picture of a Turk, the type of architecture they use, their language. They are different; the "Mongolian/Turk" you are inventing doesn't exist and the Turkish DO exist. They did NOT attack Armenian and Greek land as Mogolians BUT for the sake of argument lets just say they did: The Mongolians conquered almost every land possible during that era; there would have been nothing special about them ALSO conquering Greece or Armenia (which to them was like a spare time weekend operation). They were like the Roman empire. That's like saying that the British and French are a non culture and have no DNA (no life code) because at one time they were Roman. The original Turk is the present day Turk; the DNA code for that is consistent with the Caucuses region and is distinct; NOT with Mongolia, or any other region. So you're wrong. I don't know what purpose it serves you to argue that Turks have no idenity; but I do know such anti ethnic theory doesn't and won't ever prove up. That's why the DNA tests have a Turkish category distinct from Mongolian; they don't over lap. A Mongolian isn't going to come up as a Turk and a Turk doesn't come up as a Mogolian. If Turks have no identiy then no one else in the Caucuses does either. Those overlap more than anything Mogolian. Seriously. lol.
@@vendorcommercialprograms7578 I have no problems with turks and I'm not trying to insult them, they already mentioned that they were come from mongolia even in their series, they were muslims and ran away because of a mongolian violence that's what the history say and that's what I had read about them and what everybody know
@@suils6191 thats not true turks came from where east turkistan is or xijang is, and there are still turks living there, only two big tribes and few smaller tribes moved to the west, others moved to the south and some just stayed, mongols and turks have different tribes and only a few tribes had beef some where okay and there where even mixed tribes
I've been many times in Istanbul , I couldn't stop relating to all these things , back in my earlier trips , particularly enjoyed the bargain example haha, I suck at bargains, and surely I've been ripped off more times than I can tell . but i adore your country, and I've learned. Great content

I remember all of these moments happening hahaha... one funny moment happened to me that was very general. I asked a taxi driver to drive me from near istanbul mall to the nearest metro station and he told me oh no I will take you to a better location. I let him get me there, and I got off and gave him the exact amount that I first asked for. He got so mad and started shouting, I just walked away and told him god bless you.

Omg this video is so true and helpful for the people visiting Turkey for the first time!! And I’m in love with your channel😍😍❤️ lots and lots of love from Pakistan 🇵🇰🇵🇰
That happened to me,a taxi driver took me there however I had hidden my money away before getting there so when they searched me they only found 30 lira and they took it off me. But Turkey has good people too because once I was getting mugged by 2 men around 4 am in Istanbul, a shopkeeper who was opening his shop came and helped. He literally fought with them. Thanks to that man I escaped.
Hi there, just want to add a point related to bargaining. Please do not, I repeat, do not ask/suggest people to bargain during the pandemic. I was at Ephesus in November 2020 and the way the shopkeepers were requesting us to buy was simply heart-wrenching and NO, they didn't deceive us. Istanbul is an exception since there's an on-going flow of tourists but it's so not the case with Izmir, Ephesus, etc. Cheers! PS: you're more than welcome to visit Pakistan.
5:11 That scenario has also happened to some Turkish guys I know (who were young at the time) as well as some tourists that came. Thanks for warning folks about this.

Idk if you guys invented ayran or yogurt. There are other countries in the world, aprt from greece and turkey, that have both those items, from atleast 6000 years. We have different names for them, but the thing is the same 🙂
8:27 Even in Eminönü and Beyazıt sometimes bargaining is not welcome. Other factors (if you want to bargain) include: paying with cash, and buying several items at the same time.

I know what you mean about this bargaining thing. I was buying a shawl once and they said its 500 lira and I kept saying 250 and the guy asked if I'm Turkish😂
I have just been in Istanbul for a week. It’s a clean and nice city with lots of nice restaurants to choose, great history and land scapes as well . The only thing disappointed me is that big kurdo phobia going on there. As a half British and half Kurdish origin , I was very shocked by the amount of racism exiting in that city against Kurdish people who are making up to %20 of the population in Turkey. Not all of them but a lot of them unfortunately proudly showing racist acts. With my English friend who came with me to Istanbul for the first time in his life, we bought ice cream in Taksim street , I show my gratitude to the shop , saying thank you in Turkish language, he replied with nice smile , I said thanks again in Kurdish language, the face expression change drastically to an angry rude mood , said something in Turkish I’m sure it was a nasty words. I don’t understand Turkish language. My English friend felt it too. It’s sad that tolerance is not existing in that beautiful country. What’s wrong if all ethnics to live in harmony and respect to each others , why Kurdish language and culture are taboo? They were existing in Anatolia thousands of years before establishing of Turkish state in 1923 , why they can’t be free to study and practice their own cultural rights, isn’t that better for healthier Turkish country ? Hatred and racism are never a solution, look at history of Europe? It never works that way, it’s the era of tolerance and accepting each other’s not denying and rejecting, hope Turkey will change its education system. State systematically racist institutions will never bring peace to the nation.
It has nothing to do with racism, but rather has to do with the political context of Turkey. Nobody understands Kurdish in the vast majority of regions in Turkey, which is why the seller must have taken it as a provocation; in fact, Kurdish politicians in the grand assembly of Turkey have already used this provocation in the past to make their independence wishes prevail. It is also frowned upon to speak Arabic in front of a Identitarian European, or Chinese in Hong Kong.
Each country has it’s rules , and tradition ,,,, as an Albanian I love Turkey 🇹🇷!!!!!!! I do not understand why a Greek is crying here !!! ?? In all his comments you read only hate !!!! 🤦🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️
Lived in 5 beautiful cities around the world .From South Asia to Nordics .I called Istanbul home for almost 2 years .There are good and bad ppl everywhere.Have literally done Hitch Hiking from Istanbul to Fethiye .Listen to Aladdin Bey .Well Sultanahmet and Taksim nowadays is run by mostly Arabs .Most of my Turkish friends will not even go there . If you really want to see how Turkish ppl behave go to a city like Izmir or if you want to see how conservative Turk ppl look like go to Sakarya ...Irrespective if they are conservative or ultra modern ..They are good kind and warm ppl ...Hoşçakal! (one interesting fact about Turkish language ..its a language of greetings ..They even have a greeting for a hair cut..sihatlar olsun)

The most hospitable country. We love Turkey!
Thank you for your amazing efforts and awesome creativity in educating foreigners about your country. Turkey has been portrayed in a bad light lately but it's a spectacular country with very welcoming people and fantastic opportunities! I always learn something new from your captivating, authentic and fun videos and I really admire your inspiring enthusiasm, energy, style and professionalism. You are a rock star 🌟 💫 ⭐️
I am not a Turkish, but I think a decent visitor like you must be welcomed wherever you go.
Beautiful yulia 💋 ❤
In Canada, wearing shoes in someone's home is a big no no - not just an eastern thing. But yes, some western cultures don't care about outdoor shoes inside, fr some reason...
I love Canadians they're the nicest people ❤❤🥰
.You can't enter the house with shoes because how much dirt is out there, you carry it to the house, we never step on the carpet with shoes, it's more important😂🤣..We love Turkish customs and rules
if i step on carpet with my shoes my mom would kill me instantly .d
You are right about young tourists getting taken for a ride, however, I and my wife were disabled and they went out of their way to take care of us and make sure we were taken care of. Young kids wanting to have fun will be taken for a ride. LOVE TURKEY, and the people.
Thank to showing istabul beautiful ❤️
Dear Aladdin,
That’s great to have your tips for people touring Turkey particularly Istanbul.
Definitely, it will help a lot while we visit these places.
I have been visited Istanbul many times & experienced the same difficulties what you have described but from now on’ i won’t be trapped by these scams.
Thanks for guidance,
God Bless You.
I like the scenarios you play with your friend, very 😄 but informative. Thanks bro
I dont care what I pay but just enjoy laughing when bargaining thats the charm love from London x
This is just a sincere advice. Don't bother if it is not for you.
You can be a little more insistent, bargaining is very normal in Turkey.
no need to worry turkish can be scammed in turkey too
😂 that "acha acha" though . Lots of love from Pakistan
Thanks a lot.

I agree with that.
I love the production in your videos! And your charisma on camera is great too
I am from USA, even whenever I buy a bottle of buttermilk from Pakistani store, it says Ayran on the bottle. ☺️ Thanks for the heads up! 😁
I watched your vlog you started learning urdu its pretty gud to know. I am learning turkish
I am a frequent visitor to Turkey, have been to many places there especially İstanbul.
I wish I could visit each and every inch there and then restore ❤🇹🇷❤
Love from Turkey ♥️🤗
Thank you for the information, I hope one day I can visit Turkey!
You should!
Thank you for being honest. My family and I love Turkey.
I lived in Turkey in the 90s. This sounds very familiar. Nothing has changed in 25 years!
Great video bro! Nice tips!👍
Thanks bro!
Lol! I've been to Istanbul twice & found out about NOT wearing heels the first time 😁😁 Love this city & country! 💗💗
I love Turkey and Turkish people. They are very polite and kind. They treat tourists with so much love and respect🇹🇷💕👍🏻🙌🏼
I am pakistanii. And i am watching you on first time. Start loving your vedio.. u r learning urdu its amazing. I watch turkish dramas and from that i am so interested to learn turkish language. For that i am taking help from youtube..

Wonderful memories from Istanbul. Thank you
My pleasure, Traveler 2020!
Hi Sehrish, you made a valid point about Izmir and other smaller towns' shopkeepers. Thank you!
Ohh my goodness 😍 I love the way of his conversations ❣️❤️❤️
You are desperate

5:11 That scenario has also happened to some Turkish guys I know (who were young at the time) as well as some tourists that came. Thanks for warning folks about this.
I like this video because you don’t leave out the tourist traps to make it seem like that doesn’t exist in turkey, very good video !
Thanks Schmidt for your observation, appreciate it!
Waiting for your vlog in Urdu. Watched your video with Turkan and loved it. Your Urdu skills were pretty amazing. 🇵🇰🇹🇷
So sweet both are when they speaking in urdu.

Brother Love this informative video Being a Turkish you all so cover the bad side(scam) of Turkey too which most people won't do it as they don't want to portray negative image of their country but its comon thing happen in every country.. One thing i noticed by watching Turkish dramas, is they always left their shoes outside before going inside a house
Thanks for the information!
Excellent video bro...Appreciated👍
good thing we in Pakistan don't associate yogurt (dahi) with any nation it is same yogurt as in Iran, Afghanistan, Pakistan, India, Nepal and Bangladesh :)
That’s both hilarious and informative 😂😂😂🤍🤍
I live in Istanbul and I was amazed to see how the cars stop for me while I'm waiting on the sidewalk to cross the road. 🙄

In Austria and Germany we also take our shoes off in houses
Great stuff bro 👍🏻👍🏻

Yogurt is totally turkish. Its name is Turkish also. It is traditional turkish food. and even central asian turks do it the same with turkish form.
Well i think its eaten all over the world 😂 its a must have in lots of pakistani houses
@@harrypotterworld7168 no. I mean Turkish form. The greek yogurt is sugary. and it is not eaten with meal. but turkish yogurt is eaten with main meals also. and today you can see this old turkish tradition in central asia. they eat yogurt with main meals. in pakistan you eat it with main meals or your yogurts are sugary and it is for dessert?
@@5ahmet we have it with meals
Not a dessert
But if someone want to eat only yogurt they can add sudar to taste
But still it doesn't count as a dessert
Its a part of meal to .... u can say reduce spices or either way
@@harrypotterworld7168 in europe, yogurts are sugary. And everyone know it original yogurt. They named it as " greek yogurt". You have similar yogurt with turkic countries. Pakistani and turkic culture have some similarities already. I think the reason is that. But in europe nobady know sugarless yogurt ( the original yogurt ) and nobady eat it with main meals.
What a great video. Nice one bro :)
Good tips. Will be there in September
the video is informative and i had a good laugh too..
Just another great video I loved it, But i'm still waiting for the Urdu challenge video :)

This is so true... There are lots of scammers in turkey especially tourist area.
Cihan already taught us about shoes and walk Barefoot on grass 🌨️
I wished you posted this earlier in the year. I visited for the first time and had experienced alot of what you talk about. Its such a shame as these practices are giving Turkey a bad name. Turkey is a beautiful place to visit, highly recommend but please do your research first.
Same! Its an amazing country with good people! But i think scammers specially taxi scams will stop me from visiting again
I know what you mean about this bargaining thing. I was buying a shawl once and they said its 500 lira and I kept saying 250 and the guy asked if I'm Turkish😂
In China it's the same, enter someone house with shoes on it's considered rude ,because people normally stay with slipper inside own home.
Terorrise a country for 40 years and when you become a victim of racism, cry to westerners. What a hypocrisy
Going to Istanbul in 2 weeks, hopefully not to get wasted 😂
You make it?
@@BeastorFail i guess not 😆

(one interesting fact about Turkish language ..its a language of greetings ..They even have a greeting for a hair cut..sihatlar olsun)
sıhhatler olsun'
