Tasted great absolutely loved it great treat for the family. Thank you so much for selling your awesome catch. It was great meeting you. Keep up the great work. Be blessed ❤❤❤❤😊
Smashed it as always! Nice work. My freezer is pretty full... Might be the end for me until crab season in November???? Gotta get ready for dove and duck season.
Have you considered making a video on the squidtrex? They look really effective for halibut and lingcod when the anchovies aren’t around. Just picked up the 75 1/2 oz for throwing from the warf.
@@TestBot4231 That’s fair. I thought they looked cool. I also think there is merit in throwing something few other people are throwing. Especially in highly pressured spots.
@Nigel_BC don't get me wrong, if I had the money I'd go at em🤣 they really do look good and you have a good point. But at 15 bucks a pop can get very expensive. I guess if it's landing you fish it would be worth it.
Great video again Adam. Was hoping you'd get a record Halibut or Ling on the croaker. Evidently the ladies like to watch the videos too. Not sure if they fish but they seem to like the fisherman ❤
actually the blue/turquoise color comes from a chemical called biliverdin. Also it seems of those which turn blue the majority are female. However, it's not exclusive to female gender it's just fewer males can turn blue too. Also, the coloring is perfectly safe to eat. Flesh will turn back to white when cooked. Weird huh? But it's a really cool color. :)
Watch your channel all the time. I have a question, what happens to the fishing rods when the Kayak flips over? Does it float or do you have some ropes attached to the kayak.
Ive never seen people catch croaker in the bay area. Can anyone in the comments tell me if this is common in the bay area CA. I know they are in socal.
Adam if you can remember please let us know where your fishing. Also I believe you can put your kayak in at cliffton court 4bay. When the salmon are running they go in there and get trapped. Strippers and sturgeon too.
@@DieHardFishing yeah, like 95% of the live bait I’ve caught locally this year have been jack smelt, and similarly colored swim baits have been producing 3-5x the bite most trips
You should put an antifa mask on and wear all black and make a channel called, salmon fishing california. And just keep salmon and dare em to find you.

What is swimming behind Adam at 18:03?
Seal?
kelp
Great video Adam. Is that something in the water over your left shoulder at 18:00 minutes?
Nice one learning lots, picked up 4 of your rod protectors very nice.
Appreciate the support!
Great video. I can't believe you never seem to drop anything overboard. Nice fish!
Thanks for the heads up on that battery !!

Sounds like a good plan!
Great inspiration, he makes it look easy. How much weight on the hoochie set up, looks like 4 ounces ?
Whats that grey rod u are using i love the bend on it!
What swam behind you, right to left, at the 17:55 mark??
Just a piece of kelp!
@@DieHardFishing Television adds ten pounds. Looked like the Loc Ness Seaweed!
I caught a 17+lb blue lingcod this year. Big ones can be blue too.
Thats a big one!
Always fun to watch your videos, Adam. Paul
Thank you! What bait you used for these lingcods?
are you using a weight for the live smelt? if so, how many oz?
Great job Adam. Your patience paid off. Nice hali !! ✌️😎🎣
Thanks 👍
17:55 what is that on right of screen ? Is it a log or is it alive?
looked like kelp.
@@phantum707 yeah I think you’re right . 👍
yep, kelp!
@@DieHardFishing thanks . Hello from Australia
Where do you launch?
learning a lot from u, thx!
btw is it shimano depth counter reel 300? 400?
Awesome video again! What’s that setup you’re using? That rod looks great.

Thanks for the suggestion! I will check them out!

Is that a Shimano Cardiff reel?
Are you using bait on the sabiki? How fast are you moving when catching live bait on sabiki?
Just straight sabiki! I am moving 1-3 mph

Thats what I was hoping for too!!!!
I don’t keep any over 30”. Then again I catch quite a few. 🍻
Love it, love it!
What lb test line and size of hook do you use on your trap rig?
I match the size to the bait I am using
Nice fish bro !!!
How many hours does your battery last?
Great catch! What time of day did the wind start picking up?
Around noon
Do stay at the bottom or barely above it? and do you troll or drift?
Drift just off the bottom
Heard from a captain out of Emeryville fleet that the color of the lings that are blue is from the octopus that they are eating.
Lol that is wrong, all lingcod eat octopus and you will catch nonblue cods that spit up octopus. Why aren't they all blue?
It's a mystery!

@DieHardFishing it truly is. Marine biologists can't even figure it out. All theories have holes in them ie octopus, crabs, crustaceans
Omg I need to be out there.
Watch your channel all the time. I have a question, what happens to the fishing rods when the Kayak flips over? Does it float or do you have some ropes attached to the kayak.
Some put floats and some use leashes. I don't use either so if I flip they are all sinking to the bottom of the ocean!
Give Adam a puddle and he will get some fish. I’m convinced 💯
Bought that battery with your code pretty good deal for that much battery I went out yesterday 4 hours and still had 53% left on it
Adam, Yu catch smaller mako shark to eat ?
How can I purchase some fish from you I live in Sacramento
send me an email! I only sell locally in the bay area but if you happen to be in the area when I have some available that might work out great!
You know what they say about guys with big baits? Big fishes!
Ive never seen people catch croaker in the bay area. Can anyone in the comments tell me if this is common in the bay area CA. I know they are in socal.
They are very very common in the bay area
I thought that the blue came from Crab. That is what also makes Cabezon Blue.
@@Fishing_Rod_Engineer not all cabbies are blue though and I'm pretty sure all of them eat crabs
18 minute what was that black thing swimming against the current
😍😍😍
Catch and cook?
FARMER!!!

You want him to bait your hook too?
@@NoName-fv1qx don't be a hater.
those are some huge smelts
Bizarrely, I haven’t had a single halibut hook-up on live bait so far this year. Most have come on swim bait, a few trolling.
Interesting!

We will be fishing together soon!
