Could I persuade you to make a tutorial here on facebook of this solo? It's so amazing and I think that it would help a lot of people. Maybe your video only have 800 views, but I will bet that you have moved 800 people deep in their soul, and I think that a Tutorial would make a lot of people very happy, me included!
That chugging sound you get at exactly 2:06, it’s very subtile but it’s such a sweet touch that I hear in a lot of your solos (pigs, have a cigar) it sounds like your picking on two muted strings or so, but it’s just got a much richer texture then that. Is that in your touch or pedals?
@nfleig GT10 and GT8 are very good pedalboard and the sound you can reach is very similar. However GT10 have different upgrade and some of them are very significant. For the sound the major improvement in GT10 is the better AMPLI section: they are more equilibrated in frequency, volume and rich of tonality, plus you can use in EVERY patch the Custom amplifier!

When I record this solo I had a Fender Stratocaster Vintage USA'57 (made in 1986) and a BOSS GT10 User Patch elaborated by me directly in the PC Sound Card (with rich reverb, Pro Crunch Ampli, Compressor, Booster and Equalizer). I still have the GT10 but now I'm using the Kemper Profiling Amp!

What do you think about the GT-10 compared to the GT-8? I know both use the same COSM tech but the GT-10 is much more user-friendly
