    I have a small question can you please guide me on how to draw railing over Trey Ceiling in a room ?

    what about concrete slab ,columns, beams and steel reinforcement in concrete work mostly you guys preview only wood but where i'm from its mostly concrete

    Nice video. Very detailed. I do have one minor gripe. Technically, everything you are doing in this program is CAD, so calling the line and boxed Cad lines and Cad boxes makes you sound like you don't really know what you are talking about, like when my 70+ year old mom talks about computer stuff.

      Thanks for your comment. I get it. I've been teaching people how to use Chief Architect for over 20 years. Many of those that I teach have never used a CAD program before. When they get into Chief they think they are drawing with walls, doors, windows, floor, etc. I learned a long time ago that it's easier to use the software if you think of it as a CAD program instead of a house program. So when I describe things as lines and boxes, non-CAD users can understand what I'm getting at. I may sound like I don't know what I'm talking about to experienced CAD users, but my students do go away from my classes with a much better understanding of the software and how it works.
