I actually really liked the GIJoe Extreme cartoon and comic series. I feel as though the cartoon and comic did a great job reinventing the entire Joe franchise.
I really think it would be cool if they showed G I Joe fighting different terror organizations, Cobra being the biggest, then S.K.A.R, the Iron Grenadiers, and the Red Shadows. Then have those organizations go to war with each other.
I agree. Too bad there isn’t a comic nor cartoon series that explore different terror organizations and rouge Military Organizations that fight GIJoe but, are all secretly part of Cobra. Have Transformers and Aliens with Cobra La being the big bad of the series.
I know I'm in the minority of GI Joe fans. But I actually love GI Joe Extreme. I still have a few of the action figures. Stone, Savage, Iron Klaw. I had no idea that the GIJE comics tied back into Action Man! I'll have to check those out.
I remember this character from that 90’s cartoon:(I unfortunately watched it though), and I’ve heard that the cartoon this character was in wasn’t popular with everyone.
In real life it is common knowledge that Cobra was invented before Iron Klaw's army, but an old character like Sgt. Savage would suggest that Iron Klaw and his army came before Cobra. What is the established/intended time-line between Cobra and Iron Klaw both outside and inside IDW comics? Lastly, how is Action Man connected to the Joe franchise?
I would include him as a thorn to COBRA, a advisory of The Oktober Guard and S.A.F. more. He would be a ally of the Red Shadows plus Destro and his forces.
In my JOEverse C.C. uses Iron Klaw and Baron Ironblood as pasties and plays them against each other. Kalistan and Borovia are neighboring countries. Borovia is constitutional monarchy headed by a Duke. Baron Ironblood is a part of the Borovian nobility with the Baroness being his daughter. C.C. sets up Iron Blood and Iron Klaw to be the biggest threats to global stability. C.C. has the world focus in on the Red Shadows and S.K.A.R. while completely ignoring COBRA Command. By the time Baron Ironblood and Iron Klaw figure out what's going on C.C. has them killed and fills the power vacuum. By the way, I have to give you props for spelling COBRA properly.
Thanks for the video Jesse! Forgot about this line. Not my favorite but I'm glad you included it. Would love to see a video on DEEP-SIX and Thunder. Yo Joe!
The line was cool they had cool figures with accesory's. The cartoon was pretty good to. I agree it's not better then the original. But it fit the mid 90's vibe.
Iron claw was the only one that I bought of that crapola line of the time. It would be something if Hasbro included this character in the classified line.😄
I think Hasbro should probably buy the rights to all the characters. Because the toy line wasn't that bad back in the day. And they would look cool as classified figures.
This franchise wasn't that bad. The toys were cool. The cartoon fit the 90's. It was pretty cool. It's suppose to b the future. They should definitely have SKAR be in the GI Joe movies. Once Cobra is defeated SKAR should become GI Joe's new adversary.
