Why does everyone discussing this topic beat around the bush instead of facing the real facts. It seems like most accountants are a bunch of chislers that expect people to work for $15 an hour. They also want people to have years of experience at a job that does not pay enough to even survive. From all the interviews I have went to it just appears that the talent shortage is an excuse for unwillingness to compensate your employees fairly. I have completely given up on this profession and am going to try and leverage this degree in a different way by at a factory job and trying to move up to a management position rather than dealing with people that only care about there bottom dollar, rather than their employees.
what a wonderful discussion . Thanks to all people in the discussion.

You'll likely always find work with an accounting qualification.
