SRAM Road AXS | How to: Charge AXS batteries

- SRAM batteries are literally a snap to remove and charge.
1. Flip the battery latch up and slide the battery out of the derailleur.
2. Click the battery tab into place in the USB-powered charger.
3. Allow 1 hour for a full charge. The charger's LED will be amber when charging and green when done.
4. Once fully charged, slide the battery into the derailleur and click the latch shut.
5. Enjoy up to 60 hours of riding!

The 90's called and they want their separate charging unit back. Sure would have been nice if they simply made it with a USB-C receptacle...then you'd just need the same cord that you recharge your garmin and other e-goodies with.

Why not a batterie charger where you can put two batteries in the same time?

Do you have such a battery charger here in HI?
It would have been nice to have been able to charge it with fast charging from power banks without the need of the wall charger. Let say you’re bike packing or travelling you need to carry the charger.
What is the red and yellow indicator
red means lowbatt,yellow is 50% charged

I just got my AXS GX T-type a week ago and I love it but I do have one BIG complaint. Why the heck are you being cheap with a micro-USB on this super expensive hardware? That is a slap in the face to consumers. I paid for quality, I expect quality. I don't want to carry a micro-USB when I go away on holiday JUST for this ONE device. Get with the times, SRAM. Jeez.

I charged mine overnight and it is still on red
Plugging it in it’s a solid blue. Is this system sketchy? HHa I bought a bike I shouldn’t have batteries in the handlebars batteries in the derailer- Ungh I should have bought an e bike 😂
My blue Led is blinking 🤔
blinking blue light occurs when voltage is low. If you supply a higher voltage, the flicker disappears

My battery is won't accept a charge and it's not even a year old. SRAM likes to warn you against unreliable 3rd party batteries. Whatever.
