One of the nicest bike videos I have seen. My bike journey started about the time of yours. I am now 67 and cycling has reversed my diabetes, reduced my ptsd from vietnam and gave me a second chance at life. Thanks again.
Same here BP was getting into high zone bordering on diabetes. Reconfigured my mountain bike to a semi cruiser and pedal 14-20 miles everyday. Some days averaging 10.5 others bump to 12-13 mph. The goal averaging 1000 calories per ride. Exercising the body as well as the mind.
Consider me inspired, and grateful you posted your comment.
Cheers
@@jedibusiness789 I got a rush from reading this. Thanks for sharing.
All the best.
Ride on dude!
You so right. Its all about being a part of nature and just enjoying all it has to offer.
Brother, I have the same philosophy about cycling as you do! I'm glad you shared your personal triumph with us!
Yep. He's preaching to the choir, for sure!
ja ja, ganz genau!
@@stefanrohner5833 Ich liebe Geschichten aus dem wahren Leben!
@@ronmartin5339 yes, me too, love them. I love ALL explain videos why we cycle, fantastic cool!
amen!
efficiency is the enemy of fun...just ride till you get lost either mentally or physically or just to go somewhere where joy might exist.
Thanks for sharing...
Im all about taking it in at the pace life offers...
Some times i crank it up,,, other times I slow it down...
There's none of this """got to get it done""" when time has no meaning...
The only time that matters on my rides is the ones in which I get too view the sights sounds and aromas around me...
Life's views from the top of a mountain just after a heavy rain is the best...
Who wouldn't like too stop and enjoy those Treasures...
Cheers from Western Canada Don 🇨🇦
The mind unplugged. The mind left to drift on its own. The first 5 or 10 miles I notice how many miles I've traveled. The last 5 or 10 miles as well. But the miles in between, almost no matter how many, pass in a blur of landscape, random thoughts, and a free floating mind. Truly a wonderful experience.
Really, really nice video. So real. Thanks for sharing! I'm 65 with life-long health issues. I'm addicted to Gravel.
thanks for sharing your story, it's something that's relatable to me, and how cycling could be enjoyed without having to rush in and performing great, it's slowing down and enjoying the adventure, getting to new/old places, and falling in love with the process. Looking forward to more of your work.
Class video I love it
Excellent
Very interesting and beautiful take, thank you for this
Love this video Dan. It’s so easy to get into that. Got to get faster go further. But. I’m only starting to get into cycling. After a few years of Tabbing. A lot around the Brecon Beacons. As much as I’m trying to get faster and further. I’ve never lost that ability. To just stop. And take in-the country side. And relax a bit. Crack on 💪💪💪💪💪
The atmosphere of your film is splendid.
Thanks for making this video! , I feel the same way about my cycling after years of trying to go fast !
Bravo!
When speed is no longer the objective is when you find the true value of cycling. Speed is fun but after a while you get tired of staring at the tarmac or your cycle computer.
Class video!!!
This is so cool! Well done Matt!!
Awesome video 😊👌👍
I cycle to clear my thoughts de stress and I totally agree with what you say . It's beautiful to be outside with narure
Amazing cinematic!
Wow the visuals on this are great
I loved this, great video.
I like this topic. I'll camp out here on your channel for a bit.
❤
Lovely production. Deft use of type and effects. Your editor/graphics person has a lovely light touch. Excellent technical job and a really worthwhile message.
Awesome
Well in lad
Cool video man!
Great video, I’d like to move away from strava road riding to more adventurous and free stuff. Any tips on how to start, equipment etc ?
Cool video, need to get my dad a drone to film me! 🎥
Does anyone know what that bag with the dog patch is? I love it so much
Great vid. Too many people looking at screens and not the scenery out there.
GrEaT stuff
M8 exactly that.
Brilliant if you don’t ride you will not understand this
Oof, I relate to being really unhealthy obsessing over data and weight. I ride free of Strava now, wherever I want. Bikes are fun again now.
Is it a gravel bike ?
What's the location of that stunning bit of narrow tarmac?
That is Dragon Hill in Uffington, an amazing spot to cycle and to visit!
Another explain film...
