What I love about the first episode is that because his brother said "I want to spend time with my brother", he finally understood that if you can't stop fate, the most you can do is enjoy the time you have together, which is the most important part of life. In the end, his "exit strategy" was to simply enjoy the time left until the moment fate had already planned to take him. That acceptance and fully living in each moment was the main lesson he needed to learn.
I found it strange that after proving he could time travel his brother was mad that his life was saved from one fire, instead of being happy he could continue on fighting more fires.

As long as nobody builds a real time machine, nobody can check it.
ok. exit strategy made me cry. as one who experienced 3 deaths in the past month by loved ones, it really hit home. we have to cherish every minute we have with them, because as time writes it no one can change it. very moving and awesome concept.
I have the exact sentiment as you. My brother died last May, and there would be so many times that he would call me, just to talk, but there were times he had drank way too much and I would be so annoyed with him. I should've spent more time talking to him. It truly is a painful feeling wanting to talk to someone who is no longer with us.
That first story hit me way harder than I expected. Tremendous acting and incredibly creative use of low budget film making. My heart sunk when he decided to enjoy breakfast with his brother
That 3rd one . . . I've actually met a girl much like the character portrayed, without any parallel universe events. She would go off into imagined tangents of intricate complexity, woven into a fabric of presumed future history and stereotypical personality templates, without having even the remotest sense of who I was as an actual person of the moment. It was fascinating in a way, but eventually the novelty wore out . . . 'till the next someone tried to jump through those hoops.

Then, he notices the machine can go forward 3 minutes, but he doesn't think 3 mins. is worth while, so he re-adjusts it. Unfortunately, we don't see how far into the future he set it. God knows where and when he went.

I'm assuming the device is triggered when someone closes the fridge door. But as there was nobody inside when he opened the door, I guess whoever sent the fridge to that moment didn't go along for the ride.
The last one reminds me of how we dwell on the past and keep repeating the same mistakes over and over expecting different results. When we start to move forward and fearlessly try something new, it is only then we finally become free.

For those who are looking for this "symbol", it's actually just a bent blade of long grass directly in front of the stump, at the bottom of the frame. It's located immediately to the right of the UA-cam time counter. It only vaguely resembles an infinity symbol and is purely coincidental. Sorry... no brilliancy here.
I have a brother, thankfully. This made me cry. I can't imagine what it would be like to be in that situation of the first one, except, I can. So on the third one, she does most of the stalling, almost all of the equivocating, but he's the uncommitted one? Dude, figure it out and just walk away.

My own imagination then fills in the idea that it was an orphanage or mental institution and the kids are now lost in a past forgotten tragedy. However, without the context of the rest of the films, it would be more classic horror of a possessed building that is taking and consuming the children.

Exit Strategy. Immediately recognized the story idea from Edge of Tomorrow. *BUT* it was so well done with original moments that it worked. Clear message. Well shot. Nicely acted. Well directed. Good lighting. Simple story. Travis Bible and team should be commended. If you're perusing the comments Travis, and I bet you are (I would be) I have _many_ questions.
The hardest part of this for me is when the brother dies in the forrest from falling over to get the keys, there is a mosquito on his nose feeding... and the actor has to just pretend it isn't. How frustrating!
No one gets out of here alive, your best exit strategy is to use the time you do have to the fullest and in the most enriching and productive ways possible, for yourself and the ones you love. As far as anyone knows, there are no do-overs so try not to collect regrets.

Yeah, I couldn't understand half of what they said. Cockney accent combined with speaking quickly and quietly isn't a good combo for us Americans. Luckily most of the dialog was pretty superfluous in that one.

Take for example: Someone saying; "Your battery is dead", person gets in and it cranks over just fine, and yet... acts as if the "battery is dead statement" is accurate/valid.....
