Hi Kate! Greetings from Florida! Just before the holidays, while I was watching a lot of Anglophenia, this channel was recommended to me. Suddenly a light bulb in my brain turned on and I have successfully changed a lot of my wasteful habits into more conscious ones. I am definitely going to pick up a few of these reads! Thanks a lot for the recommendations, and for being a great resource to those just starting on this path ❤️️

Welcome back Kate! Glad to hear you had a lovely holiday season--I missed seeing your videos as you are such a fun personality to watch. : ) I will be sure to check out the book recommendations I haven't already read. : )
I would also like to say that it is SO refreshing to watch someone who cares passionately about the environment/animals/soils/etc. but is not a vegan. I have been transitioning to zero waste/organic over the last year but, for legitimate health reasons, cannot go "fully vegan." However, I'm so inspired and reassured that there are others out there like me who are doing the best they can and honoring their own situations/capabilities to make the biggest impact they can on sustainability and conscious living. : ) Thank you! You don't strike me as the type to let "aggressive" comments get you down, but it can't be easy being told over and over again (by both well and ill-intentioned people) that "what you are doing doesn't matter because you still consume animal products." Clearly they miss the part where you mentioned you do so as responsibly and consciously and ethically as possible... I really appreciate your efforts. : )

Have you read Salt, Sugar, Fat? (I don't remember the authors name) It's about the food industry i.e. how processed food can be addictive, how it's made, and legal loop holes such as the "berry extract" you mentioned.
