"In season 3 of Mystreet, Zane starts living with Garroth and his boyfriend, Laurence." Let me tell you. I did not register anything wrong with this the first time watching because yeah, checks out! But if only in reality. XDXDXDXD

oh yeah i remember in season 1 that zane started to live with garroth and laurence of mystreet but now in season 3 he lives by himself.
Also in Season 4, Zane had dream he killed his brother while he was concerned for his brother in season 5 and 6
Laurence VA actually talked about why he just stopped showing up- I remember him saying he enjoyed playing his character but aph started to message him less and less about him showing up again and at one point just stoped or told him she doesn’t have any scenes involving him anymore.
I also remember aph kinda hinted that in one of her videos I think it was a hide n seek video? Where blaze came into his room and said something along the lines of “how come I haven’t been showing up?” And aphmau said “because sometimes you don’t need characters if you don’t have any ideas for them or aren’t necessarily needed” ( not exactly what she said but that’s the best I can remember it- )
I think that’s pretty much word for word. The mini game episode was called “Blaze gets meta”.
I kinda like the one episode after Season 4 in the minor series “Aphmau’s Year”. Granted, it kinda makes Zane an extension of Aphmau’s own trauma, but you sort of also get the perspective of helplessness watching his face as you hear Aphmau’s panicked horrific cries and begging for Aaron to not die on her. It gets me every time.
It makes me hope that whenever Aph does get to that final season, she does lean in to that trauma lasting for everyone else and how they will reintegrate into society.
That little miniseries thing hit SO hard

I have a small thing to say about Zane's moments and growth in Season 4-
I feel it was very important that it be Zane in Season 4 other than any other character, and that's because it builds his relationship with his brother. Not just the final episode either, the episode before the final episode (Episode 16: Always) where Garroth is trying to talk Zane out of the forever potion instead of just throwing the counter potion at him, Zane manages to break free from the potion for only a few moments to rant to Garroth about how he feels about their relationship (how Zane felt overshadowed by Garroth, how Garroth never accepted Zane's boundaries, and how Garroth never really took Zane's feelings into account). Kim even remarks that Zane's speech "felt genuine", proving he was speaking through the potion. I feel this is really important for Garroth and Zane's development because Garroth was finally made aware of how his actions affect his little brother.
Also, Zane being under the forever potion in Season 4 also helps the fact that in Season 6, he can sympathize with Garroth when he is under the forever potion, and truly knows what his experience is like, just like Lucinda being able to feel that with Katelynn.
All in all, Zane being in Season 4 was a pretty good decision in my opinion, because it improves his dynamic with his brother, and shows his own trauma(?) in a way.

i believe the only reason ghost had an obsession with zane was probably because it was Emmalyn. I heard from somewhere that she spent a lot of time with Zane after being separated from Kenmur. The only reason i can somehow prove this was in season 6 on the celestial canon and her having a flashback to seeing Shad, Alina and Aphmau on the centre platform. Idk someone correct me if im wrong lol (
In season 3 of Diaries she gets kidnapped by Zane which I just now realised that perhaps something happened we don't know about. Like Stockholm syndrome or something because season 3 is not finished and sadly it won't be.
Something could have, and if Diaries S3 Had continued, we couldve known about- but then again we dont. Lots of small bits that played a huge role in the ups and downs of Mystreet Season 6 and the lore of Diaries.@@LiaaMarlena
Zane was my favourite, he was well rounded and very memorable ( in a good way ). He had some great development throughout and lots of good moments.
As for Falcon claw, I’m on a similar page to you!, I loved the relationship of Arron and Agent R, ( who is my favourite side character ) and a few other things, but overall I wasn’t fond of the plot, great video right!😁 have a wonderful day!

Great video! I loved hearing your thoughts and reasonings. Zane's development throughout the series has been one of my favorites and well paced compared to the rest. Also could you one day cover Aphmau's series My inner demons? I think it would be a fun/interesting discussion bc of the themes present, and how Aph (in my opinion) uses a lot of the "show not tell" aspects to give her characters depth
I'd like to point out about something in season 4.
Its theorized that MCD and Mystreet are connected(in some form of manner). One of the main reasons being Ghost being to attacked to Zane. Ghost is thought to be Emmalyn from MCD She was kidnaped by Zane and holds some kid of Stolkholm Sydrome towards that MCD!Zane(This happens in MCD Season 3) It a hug hint that Ghost says she followed Zane because she looked like someone she love when she was alive (I believe even sharing the same name however I could remember that incorrectly).
I'd just thought I point this out about that the season 4 was mainly a Joke/hidden lore/EasterEggs kinda of season.

I think in season 4 the biggest thing that it did to zane Is really helped develop his relationship with his brother
When I was watching when I was younger even after Zane and Garth had those brother moments I always felt there was some sort of thing between them that prevented them from actually getting along In a normal brother way
But after season 4 and everything happened I felt that connection finally be connected
Like Gareth and zane can now be brothers in a way that we know them as And we do get to see the drastic change in the relationship After as well like before they kind of just avoided each other Or they rarely had moments together
But afterwards it seems like they actually can communicate and be family
My Imagination made a younger sister character named Lina , who was separated from the Zane family tree and adopted by a different family. Lina is supposed teenage animator , who doesn't know anything about her past . Now she is a UA-camr with the name Lunerdaze and has a series called "The wacky Sunday adventures" and a twist : Its an Aphmau fan series
I may not be an OG of Aphmau's channel, but I love her older videos. One o f my favorite characters is Zane because I think he is a kinda relatable person for some people. I love the pace of when Zane's character changes. Like how you said, his personality changes in a gradual way. His personality doesn't change overnight. I love the effort Aphmau did in all of her roleplays. It doesn't feel like someone did it for the views. It feels like she did it to entertain people and have something to watch.

To be honest yes Zane is the best character in mystreet. When you look it up on the aphmau wiki it says for the top three is.. Zane aphmau and Aaron ! But I kinda agree he probably has the best character growth in the series. He started out hating the world but now he’s friends with everyone! I totally agree!

Freaking LOVE the analysis of Zane’s character here! I remember watching Mystreet for the first time when I was like…10, I think(?) and officially made him my favorite character half way through s6. I still to this day don’t know what exactly it is that I like about him so much, but this summary of his character development is absolutely awesome 🖤
Zane is my favorite because he's pretty much the only one that gets good character development, and he's such an icon

Keep in mind I’ve never watched Diaries, so I’m looking at Mystreet alone and could not say about Aphmau or Zane’s character outside of it…but I think that it would be cute if they got together in season 1 because 1. It would just be super funny when it comes to the whole love triangle thing with Laurence and Garroth 2. Aaron and Zane could learn from each other (due to Aphmau being close with Aaron, Zane could learn from him to not be overprotective and that boy-girl friendships could happen meanwhile Aaron can understand how Aphmau can come around to someone like Zane) 3. I’m a sucker for enemies/rivals to friends to lovers
But that’s just my opinion ofc- I’m fine with any opinion on a ship as long as it isn’t weird and gross or is a ship with Eli (or whatever his name was, I don’t really care to figure out) ❤️
Zane is the best character both villain crusader version and iconic edgy sweet boy. From Aphmau writing for Zane was magnificent to his iconic, his growth, his advice, and his suffering as a character, and Kestin voice acting was fabulous, "elegant", and I respect that as usual (he also voice act Dante and Eric there more character that he voice act beside Aphmau roleplay).
What I think of Zane the Crusader from Diaries:
He such a great villain to his goal, his motive, his power, and everything about Villain arcs the reason I call him "Zane the Crusader" because of his design beside his priest design. He look like a Dark Unholy Warlord (some of you say he look like an Anti-hero) leading an army of dark knight/shadow knight who have full loyalty to their Warlord even in his death they still serve for him waiting to his return or avenge for him. They even view him as a God almost like Demon King himself respect him because of his power and ambition (to my stupid opinion or some kind of fanfic the reason why Zane escape the Underworld easily because the Demon King let him continue his power and use him for Plan B even though their is no Demon King in Diaries only Demon Warlock).
What I think of Zane from Mystreet:
Zane our cinnamon rolls deserved better he been through a lot. Yes, I do have problem on Season 1 Zane but I don't care but I do give a chance in Season 4 and Season 6 Zane due to his leadership and growing relationship with Garroth and Kawaii-chan/Nana. What stood to me(actually all of us agree to this well some of you) are his relationship. His Friendship with Aphmau, his Brother relationship with Garroth, and lastly all fans favourite are his lover relationship with Nana.
You can tell me if I'm wrong cause there more I missing on.

But also? I am SO curious about why you dont like Falcon Claw University - I'd be interested to hear a video on it! Maybe it was just little me thinking Falcon Claw was "super mature" at the time and nostalgia and such, but I remember it being pretty engaging 0v0
Falcon claw always felt a bit like filler and I never liked the love scenarios that Aaron was being put through. Also the way they handled Garroth in that season was a bit much and then he just kind of disappeared cause we need to have more Ultima shinenagans. That whole season felt very unfocused and the ending felt so rushed when it could've easily been handled well if they didn't focus on weird love triangle plot
But that's how I feel 😕

If you could, please go over Nana or Nana and Zane’s relationship! I love Nana and how she was portrayed as the series grew. I love how Zane brought her out and gave us more insight into who she really was. Their relationship is definitely one of my favourites.

A fun fact about me: The Zane in Minecraft diaries was the inspiration for my made up character: Ix. Who is the villan in the (again made up) ghostals which is supposed to be Mystreet but 15 years in the future. And also if you're questioning what is ghostals is then, well to be honest it's just a horror story that's inspired by the mystery of of Zane's left eye and also has a pretty nice storyline
Also, In ghostale, when the rest of the cast is gone , Zane turns VERY paranoid but honestly if there was an entity that haunts you and you can't find any logical explanation for it. You will be probably scared too

There are some hints about Zane losing his friendships and love for KC, in the newer episodes. In the emotions episode, he only has three emotions: a rotten love, dying happiness, and healthy fear. He is beginning to lose his happiness with his friends and love for them, his last greatly remaining emotions being fear. But why fear?
Also, in one episode where KC and Aaron date, KC said she only dated Aaron to get Lane(Zane in disguise)'s attention, but Zane became Lane AFTER KC left him, meaning KC was lying about her reasoning and manipulating us to think she did love Zane. How could KC want to attract Lane's attention by dating Aaron, if Lane didn't exist until after she dated him?
