The music in this show continues to be amazing. How the music changes at the beginning of the battle of the titans tells you exactly what kind of hype this fight will be. Just a ‘buckle up’ chord shift 🤣
the set up for Vorugal vs Yenk was more intentional on the stream (Scanlan summoned and cast a spell to control him), but the animation for the fight in the show is an absolute beauty
the demon/dragon fight was probably the coolest thing from the OG game that got animated. Insane. Though there's some incredible fight animations later that definitely compete!
This show really has taken some fun fights from the table and not only translated, but enhanced them when bringing them to the screen Also, DO NOT f- with Kima. She knows a bigger dragon!
In the campaign they purposefully pulled that demon through using a spell scroll because he had a vestige inside him. Cool to see the fight in a different way.
I freaking screamed when the Stone Cold Stunner happened! Like wtf?! 🤣 the Vorugal fight was a big moment I was looking forward to and holy shit it didn’t disappoint! And omg next week, it’s time!
The fight with Vorugal felt like a truly epic boss fight on the scale of God Of War or Elden Ring. And I would be just like Grog and Scanlan when they watched Vorugal fight that demon, being a total fanboy watching two Kaiju duke it out.
So much hype during that fight between Vorugal and Yenk! And very fun to see you invested in all the moves :D 18:49 This is why as a DM I change my descriptions depending on by how much a player didn't hit the AC. 1 below? The enemy blocks it with their shield. 4 bellow? They can't get through the armor or the enemy dodges. If they roll super low, they might just miss. Do they have mage armor up? That might protect them. It's not a hard rule or anything, just helps me think of more ways to describe the narrative than just say "You hit/miss".
The Dragon vs Demon is one of the best fights in this show. Also, I think this season they have been giving Percy some badass shots, like in this episode when Percy says this hunt is far from over; it's such a cool looking scene.
Great reaction, i was hoping you love it for the Kaiju fight, not to much to add, the animators and i think Travis (Grog Va and one of the producers of the show) are big wrestler fans so it make sense they give a lot of weigth to the figth. Also obviously all the Kima and Allura stuff is new which i think is great they are incredible love by the fans so give more time to love NPC is always good and something you can´t really do in a campaing. and finally to just expand of what jake was saying about Yank, the group was given a Gate scroll, a scroll that give them the hability of summon a portal wher they can go to or bring some in any place of any realm, so in preparation for this fight they descover that this demon also have a vestage insede of him so they decide to kill two birds with on stone an thats how this figth happen in the campaing.
the only thing i did not like is how bad vorugal's aim was in this episode, otherwise they did a great job making it so the heroes prevented getting hit, now is him was just sooooo off when shoting at them it was ridiculous

This episodes title is actually The Frigid Doom, must of been an error by Prime Video, it's changed now to the correct title.
