As an Indian, when she was trying out the staple food of India, and said its unhealthy, I was like, "Gurrrl, thats not how it is" Mostly, the restaurants make even healthy food unhealthy. The food we make at home is healthy, and whats made at restaurants is an unhealthy version of it. Also, here, we add a whole lot more chilli and other spices than any other country. If you were to compare, it would be approximately more than triple, so yeah. Its spicy.

There are so many kinds of biriyani itself in India. Me being from Bengal, our biriyani doesn't have any added curry. Well sice it's Biriyani we are talking about... Biriyani isn't originally an Indian cuisine... It first came into being when the country was being ruled by the Mughals.. And therefore the cooking style is a lot like theirs' and we have Indianized it....

Just fyi, a lot of the Chinese restaurants in western countries (such as in America or your case, the UK) serve a lot of dishes that have been catered to the local's palate! What I usually find is that authentic Chinese food uses a variety of fragrant spices compared to Westernized versions which heavily rely on salt and sugar for taste.
Also, there are even completely new dishes that were created in these western countries! For example, orange chicken actually originated from Panda express which is an American Chinese restaurant!
That's not to say one is better than the other (like, I really love orange chicken!), but I just wanted to tell u there is quite a big difference between authentic Chinese food and Western Chinese food :)
    love the vid btw

    • @UserUnknownng2g

Yeah same with Korean for example but some restaurants are actually authentic! At least in Germany we have a lot of authentic Italian, Arabic/middle eastern, Viet and Thai restaurants but Chinese or Korean not so much because even native people from those countries that run a restaurant adapt their foods to the western taste.

I live in Italy and unfortunately you didn’t receive a good representation of their food 🥴 the crust/base thickness depends on the area of Italy, but’s it’s neverrrr the type you might find at dominoes. They’ll usually have like 3 toppings max, they like to keep it simple! Also is that jalapeño on an Italian pizza??

Some of that food is kinda common in Mexican-american fast food restaurants, like the fries with cheese, but in general aren’t typical cultural Mexican dishes. From what I know it’s sometimes eaten in the northern parts of Mexico but either way it’s not very common cultural or typical. Never buy “Mexican” food bc It’s not.
Mexican meals that you can do:
    Breakfast: Huevos Rancheros
    1 or 2 eggs
1 or 2 tortillas (same amount that the eggs)
    Oil
    Tomatoe
Onion and Garlic (1/4 of onion and 1 garlic clove) coul be less onion if don’t liked
    Salt-Pepper (a pinch)
    How to do it:
1- On a fry pan put the oil, you’re going to fry the tortilla for boot sides.
2-Once your tortilla is ready, break the egg on the top of the tortilla and wait until is cook (add salt and perpper if you want)
La salsa: (is without chile but you can added in case you feel brave; could be a little of jalapeño or habanero)
Option 1: Boil the tomatoes and blended whith onion, garlic a little of the boiling water and add salt and pepper.
Option 2: Put a little of oil on a fry pan (a different that use with the eggs), chopped the tometoes, the onion and the garlic, add in the pan the garlic and the onion, when they turned in a nice golden/yellow color add the tomatoe (at this part the chile) then add salt and pepper.
At the side serve with beans and fresh cheese.
    Meal:
    Ceviche:
    Fish, shrimp or tuna medallion.
Types of fish: Corvina or Tilapia.
You should clean the shrimp on the inside.
Can use fish and shrimp if you want.
If use tuna medallion I recommed put squares of magoe too.
4 Limes (could be less or more, your going to need the lime)
    1 Cucumber
    1 or 2 tomatoes
    1/2 Red Onion
    A little of Coriander
Clamato (Tomatoe and Clam juice) sounds wrose but it’s not
    Avocado
    Tostadas
    How to do it:
1-Cut the fish/shrimp/tuna in squares and squezeed the limes let it sit for about 6-10 min until change a little of color, then drain the excess of lime.
2-Cut the tomatoe and the cucumber in little squares. Cut red onion into thin slices.
3-Mix the fish/shrimp/tuna with the vegetabel, the chopped coriander and the Clamato (try it before add salt and pepper)
    Serve whit avocado slices.
DON’T WORRY THIS IS NO RAW BC: the technic of the lime it’s call “Curtir” (is describe as “cooked” with lime juice)
    Meal/Dinner:
    Enchiladas:
Tortillas (the amount is the number of enchiladas that you gonna have)
    Chiken (Shredded)
Grated Cheese (please don’t buy american)
    1 Tomatoe
2 Tomatillo (ask for “tomate verde”)
    1/4 Onion
    1 Garlic clove
    Salt and Pepper
IN CASE YOU DIDN’T FIND THE TOMATILLO I recommend you use more Tomatoes and Chile
    How to do it:
1-Boil the tometoes and the tomatillo
2-Blend the tomatoes, tomatillo, the onion, the garlic and the pinch of salt and pepper with a little of the boiling water.
3-Put the chiken inside of the tortilla and roll up forming a cilinder (do it with every tortilla) and put it into a ovenproof.
4-Once you have ready yours enchiladas inside the ovenproof put the salsa on top and add the cheese.
5-Heat them in the microwave or the oven (180Cº=356F) until cheese melt.
    Serve with avocado.
Snack: Buy Tajín, chopped some fruit put lime and Tajín on it. (Could be Mangoe, watermelon, pineapple, Jícama, Guava or almost any one) Don’t put too much Tajín and try it in your hand first.

Try moroccan food. Its actually tmazight, the imazighen were the orginal inhabitants of north africa but every north african country makes it in his own way.
    Suggestions:
-Bastilla chicken/fish (they also have a sweet one, i dont like it)
    -Bwriwat
-Couscous (they also have a sweet one, i dont like it)
    -Moroccan mint tea
    -Hrira (soup)
    -Chicken with fries and olives
-Hawai and poms (famous drinks in morocco)
-Charmilla with minced meat (its a sauce, they make it in a tajine and you can do eggs with it)
-Tajine with vegetables and meat / chicken
    -Khringo/Hatita/Baghrir (pancackes)
-Msemen (you can fill it with minced meat or you can eat it with honey)
    -Batbot minced meat/chicken/tuna
I cant think of more hehe
