- An Unboxing/Review video of the new Westcott U60-B Bi-Color LED 2 Light Kit. If you want to skip the "Fun" unboxing portion of video skip to the 14:07 mark in the video. I received this on the 20th of Jan, did this video in the afternoon and used the equipment to illuminate myself and my background for my livestream that same night.

The first thing I want to say is how much I appreciate you taking the time to continuously provide us with useful info. Second, the flash on my Pentax 6x7 camera has a shutter speed of 30 seconds. The new LED lights have enhanced color rendering, light management, color temperature control, and illumination power levels, so I'm interested in seeing how they work with 35 and 120 film.
I appreciate you supporting the channel and your contributions and knowledge you share with the community, we have to touch base again for you to do a presentation as we briefly discussed a while ago. Although not as exciting a discussion as your custom made lens adapters I thought maybe you could start with what adapters are available to adapt glass between Nikon, Canon and Sony. I know Nikon's Z mount facilitates much more brands than the other guys and maybe you can expand on the lens adaptability with more of the manufacturers that can adapt to the Z mount system. Then at another time you can discuss more specialized adaptations such as Medium format to Mirrorless or your infamous Projector lens modifications as well. That may be a while, the wife doesn't let me take pictures of her and the dog is a bit low to the ground and usually won't sit for a photo either and a self portrait of me?, not looking to punish anyone. 🙂

Yeah Patches has to approve everything I do the dog runs the house that's for sure. I really like the lights so far but need to experiment with them a bit but well worth the money (in my opinion).

Many manufacturers charge this amount for (1) light, it's a great deal.
Hey Jeff, are the lights still working well for you? I forgot to ask you during the Saturday stream. How close do you have them setup to you?
They work great, I have them directing light at the ceiling above my head and they are about 5 feet away on both sides of me.

For constant video lights the U60 look really good.
The only good use for polystyrene peanuts is sending them to people you dont like...🦘
