hmm try to match the color palette of the harry potter film's (grays and greens, etc). but if they are random pieces try to match the structure of the castle, garden, or whatever location youre trying to recreate. We have a few more behind the scenes videos on building sets. but good luck!

How do you light your sets?

We have a main lamp in the room, and then we have a Philips Hue light bulb (white and color ambiance) directly over the set. We also have a couple other lights but we don't use those as much :)

We use Final Cut Pro X (newest version) to edit. We also use istopmotion for converting photos to video. And After Effects CC for all special FX
