This comes across as a Toyota advert not a review. The latest Yaris is expensive but cheaply made, noisy, cramped and in this version poor riding. Shame it did not get the refinement improvements of the 2024 Yaris Cross. Will stick with my 2016 Yaris Hybrid until Toyota get it right.
I use to have a soft spot for Yaris, but each generation seems to get less practical, things like the sliding rear seat have disappeared, also the interiors of VW products do not wear so well after a normal lease period of time, I speak from experience of icky 10 year old VW that I had since new.
Says it is going to analyse ingerir quality... Immediately starts to speak about screen sizes... 🤦 Not build quality, not material quality... That's how you make me pause, down vote and go watch something elese.
I have had a new yaris for 6 weeks -it is absolutely the most boring, dreary car I have ever owned and it is going back. It’s plasticky noisy - and has literally driven me mad. The fuel consumption doesn’t make up for the tediousness of owning it. Plus the tyre pressure monitor is constantly going off - it’s back to two main dealers since I bought it with issues on sensors, both roadside assistance and internal sensors. Just don’t buy one.
@ I have had minis of various sorts for 15 years - am going back to a JCW - I spent a great deal,of time researching before I bought the Yaris - it was a head decision based on its reliability record and economy. And the reviews I read and the test drive - but in the end it’s just no fun and the economy doesn’t, for me, make up for that. A friend has the Honda Jazz hybrid - as boring but more space.
Could've sworn i saw average mpg on the screen of 45mpg.... That's just shit. Bigger question though, why would anyone wanting an economical, small hybrid hatchback buy this over a renault clio? Clio gets more mpg while also having better performance, nicer interior, good price etc etc

You can deactivate the wireless key.
@@emanuelferreira6875 I know that, but when I get home, sometimes I forget to turn it off and end up with the battery going up.
How can you do that ? And how can you start the engine with start button ? Thank you @@emanuelferreira6875
@@emanuelferreira6875 could you tell me how?
I really like that car! Too bad it's not available here in the U.S.

Can you please test the Honda Jazz, latest model ❓👍🏻
We'll pass this onto the team for suggestion 👍

Which other cars would you recommend getting instead?

@@Jfg-z2f What would you recommend as a fun-to-drive Small Car (Mini or supermini class)? JCW is out of my pay reach

Yaris gets 70 mpg.. 400 plus miles easily from full tank
Renault warranty is really bad compared to anything Toyota, that’s the deciding factor for me
@@pianoplayer6285That is only in theory, very likely around 55 - 59 in real life !
I'm a driving instructor and average over 70mpg in my 2 year old Yaris Hybrid 61000 miles, these cars are in a different league
Owned one for over 3 years. I am averaging 70 MPG if driven sensibly. Brilliant little car
