Don't waste your money leasing, buy it. Basically £290 per month for 4 years? £14k and then you have nothing. If it starts at £22k and Toyota offer a 10 year warranty, well leasing makes no sense. Oh and that lease deal is only 5k mileage, buy it and do up to 100k and still have your warranty!
spare more money and buy the Hyundai I - 10 N - Line, you will use only slightly more gasoline, but it's roomier in the back, better looking and has 5 years warranty !
Fair. However always good to double check because in most examples, its largely cheaper - Case in point compare deals on Kuga vs PCP on Leasing.com and then on the PCP side with retailers. We support all choices of course. The channel is not about leasing per se. Thanks for the useful comment.
I bought my fiance in Spain a 2024 premiere edition. Being from Canada and tall, most vehicles in Canada are SUVS and there aren't many cars left. In Europe because of the small parking spots and tight spaces cars are still popular. She is small and this was the vehicle she wanted. Although not inexpensive, i am impressed with the quality and engineering of it.
I have the previous gen and I love it. Grocery hopper however? Not quite. It HATES infrequent short trips, the 12V battery is a huge weakness. Has this been solved in this gen?
*Finally. A car with more airbags than parliament.* Though if they used helium to inflate them, then when you've had your _ding_ and they go off, you can just float off and be pulled along like a kid with a balloon to hospital. *Genius!* And is that the smallest rear indicator since the Austin and Hillman _"trafficators"_ of the mid 1900's had that arm that popped out on the "B" pillar to let other drivers know your intentions? Great video as usual Mr. R.
One of the reasons for your noise complaint is the rubbish noisy eco tyres. Swap these and problem solved. I am on my third Yaris and getting 80mpg plus and great to drive ❤
I am on my third Yaris and really would recommend. Great to drive and cheap to run and PCP costs are very competitive. Avoid the bottom spec Icon and the top spec Premier and fake GR.
Again such a beautiful blue unique and exquisite Can anyone tell me how many mph can you do before the engine kicks in,obviously the lower speed the recharge technology takes over… thanks
>>>> I had a Yaris hybrid - left it unused for 2 weeks and it wouldn’t start as the 12V battery was flat; happened again and then found out this is a known problem.
Been there, done that. The 12V battery is tiny, and as with all lead acid ones, the capacity depends on the temperature. Mine failed last winter after several days of -6 °C overnight temp. It’s worth having a “jump start” gadget to deal with that, but that battery did fail again with one of it’s cells not charging properly, so the dealer replaced it under warranty this year. I think you’re right about anything that draws power from the 12V. Apart from the key system, if it is fitted with MyT, and you access it from an iPhone, that probably does the same thing. Make sure it is properly shut down on the phone, for the same reason.
I own the latest one of these (24MY) GR SPort (130). Yes its fun to drive, but the build quality it shocking. The gaps on the panels are not equal, the MPG is ok (60ish) if you drive like youre always driving your granny about, but you'll get 48-50 if you like driving it 'enthuisiastically. I have the pearlescent bi-tone paint trim. THe difference between the plastic and metal parts of the car are chalk and cheese. Looks like its had a front and rear end. For a car that (full price) costs over £30k, you dont even get heated seats/steering wheel or even electric seats...but you DO GET an electric lumbar support...whoopy do do's. Dont waste your money one one.
Very bland interior, very hard plastic,i looked at one of this vehicle, very tiny metal doors and the roof, are expensive further up the range, I've also looked at the Renault Clio hybrid top of the range, the Clio as a better interior quality are does shout at you when you accelerate hard
They have severe 12v battery problems. Leave them for a couple, of days and they may not start and definitely won't if left at an airport for aweek...research before you buy.
@@robinhenshaw7362 Well as it happens, the battery died yesterday. The car had been driven every day and was serviced last week by Toyota.. So I take it back - you were right!

I have bought three YARIS cars and I don't pay anywhere near that. The residuals are good your PCP payments are like a savings scheme for next deposit

Yaris has 10 year warranty as long as you service it with Toyota.

@tomhart-evija9201 I don't know how are prices in U.K. but I spared 17% not buying the T. Yaris !

It has a lot of standard equipment which is excellent, I bought a Lexus es300h because of your video on the ES and you’re recommendation.
In answer to your sat nav question, yes, it does warn of traffic problems and updates the maps accordingly
Love it and love Howard! Great review again!

We believe so as we had the car on - during the days fully - the engine will start if the car is sat on.

Why Toyota decided to not give the U.S these Yaris models…I’ll never understand. They’ll sell like hot cakes.

80 mpg really? You have the 2024 model?
@@Flypowerish on Sunday I did 120 miles on M25 return and averaged 73 mpg. On slower journeys I get even more ie around town
@@Camrocok that's impressive.. I was thinking about Skoda fabia or Seat ibiza. Now tbh I am also thinking about this for the MPG it gets.

What model is this, the GRsport version has the same power as the Premier Edition does,
Mmmm
The GR Sport is pointless in a hybrid. Larger wheels and harder suspension defeats the objective of a small nice to drive car
Please can you do a review on the MG3 hybrid. 🙏
Why is insurance so ridiculously expensive in the UK? I’m paying 45 eur (35 gbp) a month in The Netherlands on this car (all risk).
what's the difference if I choose petrol version
What about being able to turn off some of the safety systems to stop the annoying bongs, is this easy to do?
If it's bonging then you're probably driving incorrectly though? I'm betting you're not driving defensively, but rather aggressively.
@@user-lz5vh9bb5w really?
How is this compare to swift 5mt?

Better still turn off keyless entry better for battery and security
How is it better than i20 or jazz ?
I20 n'est pas une full hybride HEV
Always make me laugh when people check out rear seat room. When was the last time you saw a yaris driver with a passenger 😂
i20 is fine. I just dont like to be in the same class of people who drive 20 year old hyundais
Good video. Fire the editor.
that's the Premier edn you're driving which is more like £28k
I wish the GR sport hybrid had 160hp 180n Torque it be best middle spec yaris.
so sad this is not in Canada anymore
