With Pride, Norwood, Clarke, and now Deloach, it seems like we have at least a solid secondary. Pride and Norwood have the recruiting pedigree. Clarke has played pretty well as a substitute corner. Deloach could be similar to Abrams-Draine. They both came out of high school as athletes in search of a position. At RB, I would love to see an experimental approach. Let's get everyone in that room some reps early in the season. I think we can safely see what we have in Tavorus Jones, Jamal Roberts, Kewan Lacy, and Austyn Dendy against the likes of Murray State, Buffalo, and UMass. While I agree that Marcus Bryant is probably the starter, it's definitely encouraging that Richardson has pushed him because it bodes well for next year. Bryant is a one-year rental. At receiver, it feels like Joshua Manning and Daniel Blood have both made great strides. I wonder if Blood has moved ahead of Mekhi Miller as the backup slot receiver. I could maybe see a scenario where Blood comes in as a shifty guy and Miller plays something of the Barret Banister role. He's certainly more athletic than Banister, but he's also shown a knack for clutch catches that move the chains. 2022 against Arkansas comes to mind, as well as a couple of clutch catches on the final drive against Florida last season. Overall, the defense is just solid, and it speaks to our depth that we don't necessarily need a guy like Nwaneri to play too much. Blake Craig was a highly-rated kicked coming out of high school, so I think we'll be fine there. Really, this might be one of the most consistently solid Mizzou lineups I've ever seen. It's hard to pick out any position where the team looks weak. Every positions ranges from solid to great.
Loving it!! Sounds like our guys r buying in& starting to come together as a team already!!😏Young guys stepping up right away is always a good thing!! MIZ!!
Don't think your thoughts on snaps are wrong given the evidence, but good god they have to start giving snaps to the young players they recruited and not all the transfer guys otherwise HS recruiting will dry up not to mention when they start losing guys to the portal that would contribute. Nwaneri is a different beast and he should get 15% of snaps in every game, but look at a guy like Rodriguez. He should get 35 defensive snaps plus all special teams that require tackling in 2 of the first 4 games. Preserves the redshirt and gets his feet wet
All I can say in terms of Penn State is I think there is more of a want for Penn State to return to glory than for a team like Missouri to be really good. Plus alot of people are saying that Mizzou is a playoff contender just because of the "easier" schedule on not because of the roster Eli has put together over the last few years.
Oregon was insulted by being relegated to play Liberty last season, and we see the result. (Boise State had been a real-life giant-killer; whereas, Liberty was on a par with the Little Sisters of the Poor). I hope something comparable doesn't happen again.
Can he shoot at all or not? He absolutely looks scared to freaking shoot. Not asking for Aidan to turn into Clarence Gilbert (who shot MU out a bunch of games and into many), but dang son take a shot
@WEMFR1200 I'm Mike Sandbothe old (not quit Stipo/Sunvold/Anderson old), but just saying if he WON'T take a shot other then a dunk he can't play for this team, in this system

Cahokias Jimmy Hunt and Terron Armstead. I live Cahokia
Good stuff. Looking forward to seeing the Tigers excel this season.
I love the emphasis on the CH, cracking me up lol

Funny enough, Deloach is an absolute interception god by his senior year in CFB25. Glad to see he's stepping up irl too

Penn State gets the national discussion because a lot of New York City follows them. It’s about show ratings
Wildcard list, Aidan Shaw is the other one
How many years are we going to believe in him?
Great kid, he just doesn’t have it as a D1 basketball player
Can he shoot at all or not?

@scottmenze2704 I remember Clarence Gilbert. I'm that old & no he's not like none of those tiger's from back then. He could be tho
@@Drollpanther he has to show it this year

Secondary depth….great problem to have.

Talking about it live now.
