It's rare to have Mizzou football and basketball making positive headlines at the same time. So nice to see all the parts working well at the same time.

ohio state got beat by mizzou last season in the cotton bowl...they do not have a chance to win back to back unless they win this national championship and make the finals next year and win it too.

I think the Mizzou football defense will be ELITE next season with the transfer portal guys we have recruited along with only a couple of important pieces leaving. I expect us to be carried by our defense next season.

The officiating was atrocious. 7pts in tech fouls in 3 mins. Elbow to the groin, 3pt shooting foul, reversing a foul to keep their best player in the game & giving us a technical. Getting our PG thrown out on a flagrant 2? There were a lot of calls where there was zero contact by mizzou & were called fouls. On the other end we got hacked a bunch that wasn't called. Grill got nailed in the faced & they called it a basketball play. I'm not a homer when it comes to fouls. It was blatantly bad. Almost cost us the game. We did get lucky once that I saw. I think Grills foot was on the line but they called it a 3. FLA's coach kept disputing calls.

Love TO. He's gonna be a star. Most poised FR PG I've ever seen.

What a great fn win. Not top ten in my lifetime. Since Norm left? Depends on what best, greatest, etc. is defined. In gates 1st year we prob had 10 last second game winners after an 11 win(?) season. Great win either way, a little nerve-racking at the end. Watch FLA drop 5 in a row now & everybody say it wasn't that big of a win. I think it's huge that it was an away game. Teams are winning on the road less & less and we need to be able to win on the road if we're going to make a deep run.

Mizzou's defense and rebounding has improved dramatically as this season has progressed.

NOW, this is a great class. Would have CRUSHED the portal had we gotten a day 1 starting QB. But his has been a very good portal. The defense could be VERY tough next season with the LBs, Safties and DEs that we pulled in the portal (as well as HS recruiting).

Perkins getting kicked out might have saved Mizzou in the end. Barrett was way better handling the ball against pressure. Perkins has been a black hole recently.

I listened to local KC radio this morning and they said everything I was thinking: the refs tried to give Florida the game. Even when replay was obvious they gave call to Florida

A marquee win at Florida plus the big win over Kansas, this team is starting great. Keep it up Tigers and you will be in the big dance!!

Barrett also made multiple huge 50/50 plays on poke always, and had a huge second chance offensive rebound we got because of his initial tip. I can’t lie I was questioning a freshman being put into the game as Gates did it. Clearly he saw enough in practice to know T.O was ready for that moment. Huge stuff

They played excellent defense the whole game. I attended the game and it felt like a football scrimmage. Mizzou hung in there despite some questionable officiating. Gates coached his best game as the Tiger coach!

I have to say, Mezzo has been known to "mizzou" games like that in the past and most of us true mizzou fans get really anxious late in a game that gets anywhere near close. After last night, I am finally starting to feel like we are a school and team in both football and basketball that is learning how and expecting to close out games in victory

Fantastic win. Now gotta watch out for a trap game vs Arkansas this weekend. Having not a conference game yet, I think we will see their best against us. And coming off the high of the Florida to win, they better be ready!

Mizzou should hit the top 25 if they beat Arkansas with A&M, Bama and Ms St losing. They blew a 16 point lead but hung on to win. A wins a win.

Pat Adams is the worst referee in basketball. Any game he officiates is always a hot mess
