I love playing a Neutral or LS SW, it really show the hypocrisy of the jedi in a lot of scenarios, "oh you come in peace sith, b-but you're a sith, you're evil, I'll kill you! *Jedi-Death.mp3*"
Being a light side warrior is the best, the Jedi get so pissed that they cant stereotype you as evil and you can be a less hypocritical version of them while being better then them at their jobs.
@@talizorahnarrayya5916 i feel like thats less jedi hypocrisy and more bioware not really considering the ramifications something like a light side sith would actually have. that story is still bound by the fact that youre a sith and has only been minimally adjusted from the expected playstyle to give the illusion of choice, but you cant actually do any major thing a lightside sith would wanna do. youre still bound by what the game expects and wants the dark side sith players to do, because bioware anticipated those would be the majority.
You can also trick the spy into revealing herself by saying (essentially) "I'm here to slaughter all of the Jedi, reveal yourself so I don't teamkill, kthx" and then letting the Jedi take her away. It's hilarious.
Its funny how she believes that you, as a sith gives a shit about teamkilling

@@Mechagodzilla128 By that she should also have understood that the Sith way is treachery. The smarter option was to position herself in such a fashion that she convinces the other Jedi to attack, joins in the attack, and after the player is dead, kill the other Jedi. Maybe she just isn't a very good Sith.

She is a spy and her duty is to collect information and manipulate, while killing is left for only when absolutely necessary(like when under a threath of being discovered or maybe the assasination of a high value target).
Spies can often do A LOT more damage than any brute.
Or even a fleet.
@@GameslordXY But in the scenario I just pitched, she goes and kills a person who walked in and declared 'I'm sith, gonna kill all jedi, identify your kin so I don't kill you too by accident', so banding together with the Jedi would not only keep her cover, but further cement her credibility with the Jedi
I find it ironic that the light side sith warrior has a better track record with Jedi then a light side inquisitor
Because Jaessa actually plays a bigger role on the story than Ashara does.
It's not THAT much better. You still have like at least 3 Jedi mobs where you can be like, "I COME IN PEACE & BEARING COOKIES!!"

@@JohnSmith-li6mn But her plot-line pretty much ends as soon as she leaves the Jedi, after that she just becomes inconsequential to the story. I really like Ashara, but she was done dirty on the Inquisitor's Story. She's basically the Gohan of SWTOR...
I really prefer the old republic era things were much more gray like an actually good sith a bad jedi and the likes...

They were gray all the way up till Rebels, in which Disney presents them with a _Saturday Morning Cartoon_ level of simplicity regarding good & bad.
In SW '77 ObiOne flat out lies to Luke, presumably to make Luke fine with unknowingly killing his own father. That's literally the basis of a Greek Tragedy waiting to happen! Then throughout the prequels & clone wars the Jedi are presented as elites, segregationist who are literally above the common man, while preserving the status quo from their often militarized temple "of Peace" for a corrupt society as they become the executive arm of Darth Sidious. That Jedi Order died for its blind obedience in service of a corrupt social order.
Luke and the Audience believed in a myth _(told by a biased, known liar)_ of Jedi with higher ideals than actually existed in Obi 01's time. But Obi 01's order died for its blind service to a corrupt social order. Luke's belief in the lie allows the Jedi to be reborn, closer to the idealistic myth that Obi described but had never existed.
It's a cool thought, but it doesn't make any sense. The dark side corrupts the user and brings out the worst of their traits, as well as using negative traits to fuel such power. Fear, anger, and hate being chief among them. To be a light Sith is to be a bad Sith, as you may as well just be a Jedi in the first place. Although, one could be a cool-headed Sith like Jadus, but he is still pure evil. Not a good bone in his body.
Dark Jedi on the other hand do make sense, but not Grey Jedi. One cannot be a master of both hate and compassion simultaneously. It is simply not possible.
@@nutellaninja4667 No, it makes sense. Dark and light can coincide, you can hate one person and like another, you can be good and draw on your hatred of evil for power. Besides its not good or bad its dark and light, you can just draw on all emotions you feel and use that power for whatever goal.

Emotions in Star Wars are not as trivial as they are in real life. For a Force-senstive, emotions are powerful and dangerous. Many of the Jedi who think that they are tapping into hate and anger in order to dish out good or justice are lying to themselves. Because as Yoda said, the dark side is corrupting.
And yes, it is good and bad. The dark side draws on emotions such as fear, anger, and hate. Constant drawing of this power emphasises those traits and suppresses your positive ones; turning you into the worst version of yourself. An evil person. The light is simply calm and compassion and clarity. No evil necessary.
Tapping into the dark side and the light side is nigh impossible, if not *completely* impossible to do. Darth Gravid tried it and nearly went insane because of the emotional battle raging inside of him.
Really makes no sense that a Dark side Jaesa can be used and not a Light side Jaesa, especially with a Lightsided Sith. A LS Jaesa would want to clear the confusion and save the Jedi from a trap, a DS jaesa wouldn't really care at all if the Jedi knew or not.
I mean, I just wound up talking my way out of that before Jaesa was necessary. The spy just kinda fell over herself to not get killed, and wound up getting arrested instead. So, mission accomplished I guess?
I always go light Jaesa and it’s a shame she can do this. It truly makes no sense.

Perhaps you can be a Darkside Warrior,but allowing Jessa to be remain Lightsided?
@@GameslordXY It's impossible they made it that if your character is darkside then she'll be darkside and vice versa.
Also, yeah, Jaesa DEFINITELY needs to be Dark Side for this line to trigger. It isn't just Jaesa's tone of voice in her dialogue, you can see that she has Sith eyes in this cutscene.

Funnily enough, this line was supposed to be available for players who had LS Jaesa, but it seems like it was bugged at some point before the game was released. I can confirm that that's the case because there's an alternate voice line for LS Jaesa in this scenario in the game's files.
So you can only use Jaesa like this if she's Dark Side?

1:29 this one is a miraluka, their whole thing is that they see things through how they interact with the force, how did he miss this? THEIR SPECIES ABILITY IS LITERALLY SENSING SOMEONES ALIGNMENT!
I like to think of it like Neo in the Matrix, where they can see the outlines of everything, and anything alive glows. But I don't really think that they can sense people's intent, just their aura. So if a Sith decided to mask their aura, it would look normal to a Mirulaka unless they knew what to look for.
I always disliked that, they presented Jaessa's skill as a gift when literally a whole species has been able to do the exact same thing for years

I played through the Sith Warrior, Bounty Hunter, and Smuggler story lines completely and got most of the way through the Knight, Trooper, and Agent storylines and have to say that the Warrior got some of the best scenes, espeically if you play a light side. The Jedi get so confused, especially when you point out how hypocritical they are while being if anything better then they are.
I may have to try a Darth vader playthrough of the Sith Warrior (it would be interesting to see a modern sith deal with problems in the Old republic time).

I've recently seen a female Sith Warrior with what appeared to be Light Jessa,but after choosing middle option at the beginning,there was no Jessa specific line on offer.

Are Dark Side characters the only ones who can do that?
I've seen at least 1 Lightsider choosing the middle option WITH Jessa present and there was no Jessa specific dialog.
No opportunity for Jessa to expose the spy.

All I always killed all of them to indulge myself and they'd have probably gone against the Emperor's goals at some point then you do when he is just using the sith

I didn't remember this bit, so I was expecting overly-compensating dark side Jaesa to blurt out that "Hey, they're a Sith too! Do you also like murder!? MWAHAHAAA" and everybody would stare at her for a minute.
You know what’s crazy? This interaction can only be done with dark side Jeasa. You get light side jeasa and this interaction is unavailable and your attempts to be good gets all the jedi killed.

I like how dark side Jaesa becomes, with the idea that hell, if she's going to go evil, it's not going to be some boo-hoo-hoo sob sister evil, it's going to be wallowing in moral depravity evil. sometimes even more evil than her master!

Need those glowing eyes. I got some blue eyes from the Cartel Market but they don't glow like these. My toon is Light Level V, if that helps. "Show Dark Side Corruption" doesn't help either.
I like doing this, not to be light sided but so your character doesn't appear too overpowered in the story
At 0:48, if you choose the "Don't doubt it" option, does your Sith Warrior say something like "I've seen it firsthand."
Just found out that you can't get this option with Lightside Jaesa. That sucks.

I wanted to spare them but I had Vette with me so my Marauder killed the Jedi. If I’d have known I had to have Jaesa with me I’d have done this. 🗿
You can spare them without her if you say the lines asking spy to reveal herself to not get killed with other jedi.
@@Gaben38 I remember that's what I did because I was playing light side! But, I'm pretty sure you have to have Jaesa with you because I picked all the passive lines - asking the Jedi to come peacefully, I even let the Jedi take Master Injaye in and they still attacked me!

Try to play jedi knight. Don't know if exactly term "friend" was used, but Darth Scourge is interesting companion.
This game looks like DC universe online, and Mass Effect.
And I like it.

This was not in my playthrough, no matter the option i made, this never came up.....it always went to combat.....lightside sith warrior...
It's because you needed a Dark Side Jaesa, I've tried, you cannot do it with a Light Side Jaesa.

Try going into the interface editor (Esc > Interface Editor). Click on one of the quick bars that have a red highlight. Then click "Enable" on the interface editor window.
