John Reese.. the greatest ever tv character of all time. Jim Caviezel nailed the character and I HATE HATE showrunners so much for sidelining him in last 2 seasons. Bunch of idiots. I miss him so much. I have never been a fan of this much action, violence but this show made me fan of such kinda series. Wish we could see Jim in another action crime tv show but that won't be possible now :(
Man, your editing is top notch :salute:. The dialogues, the scenes, it must have taken a lot of time to skim through all of these. Just a suggestion, you could make a video of all the people he helped saying thank you to him and the end it with carter.
I really like this, and you did a good job with overall flow, pacing, structure. Good choice of sound bites. If you ever remake this, please consider reducing the volume on the music. It overpowers the quotes, especially near the end, to the point where it's hard to make them out.
Thanks. Interesting because I personally find the dialogue to be very clear. I played around with the volume on the dialogue and the music and liked it best like this. It's louder toward the end because the music itself gets louder -part of the drama/emotion. I think it may have something to do with the playback device you use. It's better to listen with headphones for one. Also it varies depending on your device because for me I can hear the quotes very clearly.

Just when things look the worst John kicks open the door and saves the day. After the smoke clears, John calls to Shaw. "Come on. Finch needs our help." Shaw stays put. She lifts an eyebrow, "Excuse me?" John. "We don't have time for this. I'll explain on the way." She shrugs and goes with him. The next shot shows Finch and Grace in the park in Italy. She has her easel out. He is enjoying watching her paint. This idyllic scene is rudely interrupted when shots ring out. John covers while Shaw grabs Grace but Harold is taken before they can grab him. Grace cries "Harold!" John walks up. "It's okay, Grace. I'll go after Harold while you stay with Shaw. She'll keep you safe." Grace stops crying. "I remember you. You gave me that message from Harold. You'll get him back, won't you?" "No promises but I will do my best." Shaw interjects. "Come on Grace. John will get Harold back but he can't do that if he has to protect you." Turning to John. "Babysitting duty? That's why you dragged me to Italy?" She starts to turn away before turning back. "And John... Bring Harold back alive or I will shoot you myself." John. "It's good to have you back Shaw." He preps his gun. "See you in New York." Abandoned parking structure... A black hood is pulled off of Harold. He is tied to a chair. The kidnapper is holding a semi-automatic rifle. "You whisked me away. The least you can do is tell me why." Harold. The kidnapper laughs nervously. "Soon. We're waiting on one more." Then proceeds to jump when gunfire is heard at the entrance to the parking garage. He jumps on the radio. "Copper 1 what is going on?" A crackle on the radio. "We're being attacked...." A shot is heard then silence. "Copper 1 do you read me? Copper 1?" He turns to Harold and points the rifle at him. "What is going on?" Calmly, Harold responds. "I'd imagine it's my friends coming to rescue me. And really? Do you have to point that gun at me? If you kill me there is zero chance of getting out of here alive." The radio crackles breaking the intense stare. John's voice comes over the radio. "Harold?" Silence. "Harold? She's being relocated to a safe location." Pause. "To the person who is holding him. Your associates have been dealt with. When I find you, Harold better be alive. If he's not, I will kill you." Silence. The kidnapper drops the radio. His hands are shaking. He grabs Harold's shirt. "You got to help me. I have a wife and kids." Harold stares at him coldly for a moment. "You endangered my wife. For that I should let him do what he wants with you." The kidnapper pleads with Harold. "Please. I will tell you everything I know. Just don't kill me." Harold continues... "Still. Thanks to my associates she's okay. Drop your weapon and lay down on your stomach. You'll tell no one about my wife, myself, or my associates. By staring straight ahead, closing your eyes, and covering your ears you agree." The kidnapper complies immediately. "Harold?" "Over here." John hurries over and unties Harold after kicking the gun away from the kidnapper. "While your timing is impeccable how are you here? What happened to you?" John knocks out the kidnapper before responding. "I remember the rooftop...and then nothing." He pauses long enough to eye the kidnapper. "It'll be easier if I show you. Come on." Harold nods. John puts a packet in the kidnapper's hand. Then restrains him before using smelling salts to wake him. "You can follow us or you can take that packet. It will lead you to your kids. Understand?" The kidnapper nods. "Good. Now take the stairs and get lost." The kidnapper doesn't hesitate. He hightails it to the stairs and disappears as quickly as he can. As they make there way out of the garage, John shoots out the remaining cameras. "Shaw and Grace will be waiting for us in New York." End of episode shows a room. A man calls "Sir. We got a lead on the subject. Last known location: Italy." How did Reese survive? In the episodes that would follow the truth would be flushed out as more numbers are helped. My idea is that he survived because he was pulled from the wreckage and taken to a lab to undergo state of the art treatment. This treatment would include stem cells coupled with nanites. The first treatments are designed to accelerate the healing process. Then he would be injected with separate nanites to create a chip in his head. The machine hacked it's way into the computer system and woke John up before his message.
