I've been zinc plating/yellow chromating all the hardware and it has taken longer than I expected. Convertible weather will be upon us soon and I'm ready to drive the car for the first time. 1987 560SL Red with Tan interior.
About to start the same process on my 560SL's intake / plenum, changing donuts to fix some vacuum issues and watching with a sense of excitement and complete dread....

@@TonyLiveTV whoever put that bolt and bracket for the EGR tube on the back of the head had a sick sense of humor…still working on it.
@@trevorchilders479 Totally agree. I'm replacing the allen head bolt with a standard hex bolt so it's easier for the next person!
