Hi Daniel! Been a subscriber of yours since your first few videos and have been inspired to be more minimalistic. You became a first time parent a couple of months after me, so both our kids are roughly around the same age. Could you make a video about minimalism as a parent? Little kids just come with sooooooo much stuff! And I just had my second child 3 weeks ago, so the clutter is building!
I cannot wait for your interior design classes!!! Thank you for all the videos and I absolutely love your design philosophy (minimalist and working with the situation rather than fighting it), kudos Daniel.
Your videos are informative and so soothing at the same time. Always look forward to your informative videos. I am happy to say that I am following almost 4 out of 5 things you mentioned. Gearing up for more clutter free spaces..!!
Just when I ran out of things to watch, you uploaded just in time! Love the thumbnail too, funny and creative, I'm sure it took a bit of effort 😅Great video as always Daniel, keep up the good work! God Bless!
Been following your videos from Malaysia and I just love how genuine and practical you life tips on design, minimalist lifestyle and sharing what makes you happy! If you ever need some design inspirations from Malaysia and ever visit we would really love to meet up with you in person! Keep up the great videos and we look forward to all your episodes! Cheers!
Hey Daniel, be careful showing people where you store your keys. Especially if it's near the door. Your spot can be accessed using a wire camera through the letterbox and I have friends who have been robbed like that.
The top way to have less clutter is to just have less stuff. When you have products for clutter those products need to go somewhere and then onto something. Before you know it your widget that is now in a box needs a shelf that needs to be put someplace in your dwelling! To truly get rid of clutter, get rid of the furniture that houses your stuff and then you will see how munch unnecessary things you truly have.
Oh how I’d love if there was an Ikea in our country. Or even just Amazon. These videos are always great, but unfortunately not achievable in all countries.
@@jcs7474 Sadly not. But even if they did, not ever having experienced Ikea, I would surely want to see and touch first before I order, to make sure of the quality? There is a company that will import selected items, but it is a very limited list, it takes 6 months and you have to pay large import duties. Just not practical.
Finding new places to hoard stuff is the wrong strategy. They fill up with items that just stay unused. The more storage you have, the more stuff you pile up. The solution to clutter is THROW AWAY STUFF YOU DON’t NEED. Just don’t cling to stuff! That’s it. So Top 1 product to reduce clutter - the Bin.
Hi Daniel, I enjoy your videos yet this one felt thin. My relationship with 'clutter' is a little more involved. I don't think clutter is an external physical problem but a complicated person shaped matter.
I like to have a stand by my fount door 🚪 in my studio apartment where my phone 📱 watch AirPods my keys 🔐 sit there to quickly grab thing to head out the door 🚪 not having my phone next my bed too
Hey Daniel I’m looking to add besta units to cover a wall in my living room. I was hoping to use a unit that would be 80” high on 7” legs (high baseboards) but I’m concerned with it maybe being not very safe to make a free standing unit so tall when it isn’t very deep. I can’t drill since I rent and if I use a deeper cabinet size I won’t be able to open a door nearby all the way. Do you think freestanding will be okay if I secure it with several command strips? 🤷♀️
I enjoy just about every video you’ve made. When it comes to leather goods, why not switch to cruelty-free options, which are far better for the environment than even a “B” rating and, more importantly, for animals, since there is no need to kill them.
Leather is a natural material. If you’re eating meat, it makes sense to also make use of the rest. Sometimes, plastic is not a better alternative, especially when it comes to the environment.
I know someone like that. He somehow thinks that because he shouldn’t have clutter, it will be less visually intrusive or go away if he doesn’t store it neatly. Guess what? He still has the clutter. Everywhere.
Hi Dan I've enjoyed your vidoes the past few months... I admired your work you have done to redesign the home office space of many people now... But id love to set a challenge for you... i grew up an always love my old attic room... I've a lot of passion for gaming along side my work space I've been in and out of 3 different rooms in our new family home the past 6 years tryna create the ideal space... ive converted our attic space an we also could covert into the new builds attic, to create prob the worlds smallest Alice in wonderland room my young girl loves... in ther is my new domain but my custom desk an future are still slightly to big for proportion... I was wondering of ways to get your attention to even ask if you can give me some ideas only unsure of any other ways to contact you ;)
I have to say that as much as I love the idea of decanting products into lovely bottles or containers, I find the process to be a time consuming luxury. As well, I am still left with the remainders - still in their bulky and eye catching packaging - that require additional storage.
I drain as much as I can into my preferred containers, then use up the last of those new bottles immediately, so those containers don’t hang around for long. I wish I could buy new products in soft sachets so there was less waste.
I hate when people say "putting items to dedicated containers is the waste of time". They proceed cluttering the house and scattering stuff around. They are lazy, because they hate putting things in their dedicated spaces and they need to access everything immediately. They hate opening a drawer, pulling out the container, opening the lid and taking the item. They want items to be thrown everywhere so they have to do no effort taking them. Lazy, lazy, lazy.
Hey, does anyone know what the console with the sliding doors at the 0:57 mark is, that he shows a close-up of? Or even if it’s more visible (or even named) in another video? I’m overdue for a new TV console…
I can watch this gentleman talking all day. Delightful.
I am a simple man. I see Daniel Titchener videos, I watch.
We are and proud of it.
This is the way.

Simple tastefully thought out minimalist designs are the most practical concept for small spacers. Thanks for sharing your creative ideas!😊

I'm so glad I found your channel. You have the taste and aesthetic that I personal want in my home. Thank you so much for your suggestions!
I usually skip the Sponsor part, but this one is rly nice!
Hey Daniel,
What's the name of the IKEA mirror you mentioned in the video?
I really liked the white, underbed storage you showed in the video. Where is this available for purchase?

I don't see a link to the mirror with the tray for keys, nor do I see it on the Ikea website..anyone know where I can find it?
That thumbnail 🤣

Don’t tell me to bin my tax papers.
I want you to check a project to my illustration\tattoo studio but I'm struggling with the file to send to you kkkk

Do any of these count if you have kids 🥲
Love it
You can always revert to the 70s and 80s method of cleverly disguising stacked cardboard boxes of junk with a candlewick bedspread!

How have you been liking your TEFAL Ingenio pans and pots? Would you buy them again?
I live in a similar space as you … where do you hide your suitcases that is the most annoying thing that gets to me .

I have a whole house to redesign. Are you up for it? It’s interesting - 80’s, relatively untouched in Sydney, Australia.
The framing of the shot @7:02 is brilliant.
Hi dear Danial!
Could I send you my apartment pics for the new design?!
