What sort of lathe is it you have please Matt? I'm about to start searching for one for my workshop, messing about with cars and motorbikes, so any pointers would be helpful. I'm far from expert and the choice is bewildering.
Hi Colin i have a Clark cl500m that’s a little modified as in the milling head has been taken off and it’s been changed over to 3 phase motor with inverter and speed controller but that kit is not that expensive but well worth the upgrade

I may be a bit naive but do you not still require the rubber dust shroud on the m/cylinder
Not so much on this car as the pedal box is internal not external. If they way under the bonnet I’d have worked something out to keep it sealed up
