Very interesting to see them side-by-side and hear the reasons for them both. A comparison of both weights on final build would be interesting but as you say they are built for different reasons.
Thanks for the feedback buddy, well the not so Christmas chassis is basically finished now and I’m due back the subframe for the other one any day now so hopefully we can get their weights before the one goes off to Germany

Its anazing how light 60's lotus type stuff was and even 70's porsche, but they had a never ending stock of fresh drivers if they broke a few. I just looked up the Porsche 917 and that was 45kg. A Lola MK1 was 27kg.
