JP only works in anime because of the over reactions of everything. In regular voice acting IF done properly, ENG is pretty good and this is one of the cases.
In this kind of fast paced game genre, EN VA are better tbh. I enjoy listening to EN VA in MOBA games and shooters but I prefer JP in any other genre that leans more on anime aesthetics.
The Iron Fist one is genuinely funny because he speaks in Chinese when he's using his Ultimate in the English Dub as well. So there's technically no English Dub for his Ultimate

Nowadays either mismatched, mediocre VA’s are handed roles (Lily Gao as Ada, Yong Yea as Kiryu) or talented VA’s are told “okay ladies, play as this bland, androgynous, strong female lead, and Men play as this pathetic, emasculated caricature.” (Laura Bailey & Troy Baker in The Last of Us 2) Even the best VA’s can’t make garbage become anything more than garbage.

That's just bias, a lot of these (e.g. Captain America's) are clearly better in English. I'll give you Peni's, just because the voiceline sounds annoying, but she's the same voice actor that does the Japanese line too.

As someone who watches anime and hates Eng dubs. I can safely say the English VAs are undefeated in this one. Especially Scarlet.
I find japanese VAs too be too high pitched when compared to the English translation, I still have it in japanese for fun and to learn some new words.
