She's like a physical embodiment of empathy and optimism and I think Loki, subconsciously, really appreciates it.
It’s so funny how Marvel has flipflopped on whether Hela is actually Loki’s daughter so many times. Like the latest canon is through time travel, Thor dropped off baby Hela with Loki in the past and told him “yeah you’re going to adopt her and raise her as your daughter now”, and because at this point Loki was with Angrboda (she’ll eventually have Fenris and Jormugandr), he actually did feel he was ready to settle down for a while to raise a family. So Hela was raised with Fenris and Jormugandr as her brothers. But before THIS canon, we had the “Leah is actually Hela” story arc some time ago, where kid-Loki seemed to have a crush on Leah who turns out to be literally the hand of Hela, and who eventually becomes Hela through also time travel. Technically in current canon this is no longer canon, but Leah turned up as one of Loki’s exes in an issue (along with Angrboda and many many more), so like, technically a version of Loki once sort of was a couple with his daughter. I think they emphasize that Hela is adopted to avoid making this worse. Old classic Loki was actually worse, he didn’t act like a father to Hela much and that was before the adoption/timetravel/reincarnation retcons
I thought the canon was that Hela was actually Loki's daughter but her Loki was a previous incarnation prior to a Ragnarok that happened in the past. So that's why they never really had any familial relationship even before the MCU.
@ Nah, that’s old canon now cos the most recent canon is in a Thor comic from last year, where it’s revealed Hela is a black infinity stone reborn into a child, who was then brought into the past by Thor to give to a younger Loki to raise and to fit their myth. All incarnations of Loki are treated as the same progenitor as his previous incarnations. Recently in another comic from 2022-2023, he has a confrontation with his grandson(s) More the twin-wolf-souls-in-one, who plead to him as their grandfather and Loki does acknowledge them as his grandsons. He also acts as if he was the one who personally imprisoned them even tho from perspective of everyone, that would’ve been his classic Loki incarnation. But when an Asgardian is reborn, their entire history and metaphysical presence is reborn. So even tho this incarnation of Loki is new, in their own history and who fathered what descendant, it’s now always been THIS Loki. That’s kinda the thing with Asgardians. The Ragnarok cycle when triggered, caused them ALL to die and be reborn with new histories and metaphysical existence, to feed The Ones Who Sit in Shadow more power. EVERY Asgardian was reincarnated and not just Loki, this included ALL of them, including their children. All their origins get restarted and reshuffled and rewritten (this is what God of Stories Loki realised and took advantage of) Original Fenrir (from the 1970s comics) was actually just a furry man with a mace. There’s been actually multiple ragnarok cycles that happened to the Asgardians before Thor finally stopped it and stopped The Ones Who Sit in Shadow from feeding off the Ragnarok energies, so Fenrir get depicted as fully a wolf technically only in recent cycles. But to Asgardians, there’s only ever the one CURRENT version of their history, even tho they’re all more aware of what the nature of their existence is, especially Loki. He can now more directly affect his own incarnations and is more self-aware, but he keeps his role as progenitor of Fenrir (and via him all current wolf gods), and Jormugandr. But the details can change, hence why Hela is basically given a new origin every 10 years IRL now.

He has been a Loki VA many times before, so it's more like one of his go-to roles.
@@yoursonisold8743 When? This is the first time I can think of hearing Troy Baker voice Loki.
@ He was Loki in an Avengers cartoon. That is also where his entire ult concept comes from. "YOUR POWERS ARE MINE!" reference how the Loki of that cartoon tried to steal the Avengers powers.
He has also played Loki in several Marvel games before.
@@yoursonisold8743 Which cartoon? I seem to remember Graham McTavish voicing Loki in several of those, including Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes.
@@furioussherman7265 Why cant you just do some basic research yourtself...?
The one after Earth Mightiest Heroes. I don't remembeer what it was called. Assembled? Just look it up.
The amount of effort they put into these interaction is commendable.
3:19 Loki mains relate with Loki here (why did they make it so that hulk has an achievement that has to do with using his ult on us 😭 )
3:19 AVENGERS FLASHBACKS 😭😭
“A Soul”
Damn.. going to need more than magic to heal that burn.
"To battle!" I love him
Other characters react to ally eliminations, like Doctor Strange saying "No one can resist against the full strength of the Scarlet Witch"
Troy mfing Baker ladies and gentlemen. Absolute perfection
9:13 top tier roast.
Why is squirrel girl the only person ive seen acknowledge black widow as someone other then a sniper?
1:14 Kind of reminds that Doom sometimes has the same story, the only good future is where he rules but is also quite convenient that only he saw that future
Hearing Troy Baker as Loki makes me sad how robbed we were with Pagan Min (farcry 4) having so little screen time
Loki design is so 10/10
The helmet from MCU if some future they add Malekith the real norse Loki
And he is a healer with the rune stone like in SIEGE and like in every comic he is always the mastermind behind "a big team" of giants doing all the muscle work
I love that thear is lokis family pating on one of the maps (sorry for my english
2:34 I understand she did earn her god hood but she was born with that capability. Meaning she was born a god too.
Abilities and powers alone don't make a god.
@batjope23 True, but tell me she would still be considered a god by her people if she couldn’t control the weather with her mind.
A god mother, sure.
@@batjope23she's only a god because she's an omega. Without her mutant genome, she'd be a nobody
Literally born a god
Difference is, Loki is a god *in a land of gods.* So in fact HE earned it, but Storm didn't
I like when he makes puns.
"a nutshell"
"so damp"
Ohhhh I didn’t know Hulk was down like that… 😮💨😏 Lucky Loki. 😂😂😂
"I could be anyone, but i choose tô be Loki"
God (of lies) I love him.
1:55 "To battle!" is so cute
Bro does the character ABSOLUTE JUSTICE
who knew magneto and loki would be buds
🗣️ THE BATTLE STARTS IN FIVE...
Hela's voice actress really delivered that "King Loki" with the same energy as "My Dear Obi-Wan"
I do find it interesting with how much there avoiding the relations with hela, loki and thor. Probably because of the mcu making hela odin's daughter instead of loki but I hope they change it back
Loki would absolutely no diff the punisher in lore 😭😭
Punishers standard arsenal couldn't even hurt him even without Lokis magic.
3:09 is AMAZING
6:53 . What is Mantis staring at ?
Love the dynamic between Loki and Mantis. A lying narcissist and an empath. He can't really manipulate her since shes able to see right through his BS
It's interesting that out of all mortals, Loki seems to have at least a bit of respect for Dr Strange.
Has a Scar from the Lion King feel to him
2:19 Storm acting high and mighty when she was also born into her powers by pure chance is hilarious
Loki thor convo -
BROTHER!!! my i have some loops😂😂😂😂
I was waiting for hela to call loki father
ah yes loki, the trickster, the king of lies, the mf who got pregnant by a blue horse and gave birth a horse with like 6 legs and gave said son to his adoptive father as a mount.
also hela arent you loki's child?
I find it deeply amusing how Loki sounds uncannily like Sideshow Bob.
"Your god is suffering 💅💅"
Wait guys that’s not Loki Laufeyson
That’s Troy Baker
0:26 I was in the middle of the game playing as loki when he said that line to hela i was dying 🤣 ugh I love this game and im not even a competitive multi player type this is my game ill hop on anything marvel as long as my girl storms in it ill play it😁
I love how Loki just refers to Black Widow as just ‘The Sniper’.
HEALING FOR MY FREINDS! :D
Troy Baker using his Van Kleiss voice.
Storm threw so much shade at loki 😂
i need more loki dialogue!! 💚🖤
I felt a bit of revenge against Black Widow at the end.
Why don't you turn down the announcer audio in the settings? It interrupts the ending of some of the interactions.
Storm sounds like Sindel from mk1
Same voice actress, Mara Junot.
gods, i absolutely love loki so much in all universes!! he’s just so damn charming and amazing!! but the original norse mythology is so confusing… however, i do love it!! i need a breakdown of marvel/mcu norse mythology vs. norse mythology. 😭🖤💚😍
"Raise your heads, friends! The sniper is gone!"
*raises head, gets headshotted by Hawkeye*
"...Lower your heads, friends! The Archer is nearby!"
Is there line :" I'm not doing Get Help!"
No Spiderman ones yet
I hope when we do he offers Loki a Hot Dog after all this
I understood that reference. ^^
3:19 Nice to know that Loki still has PTSD after that event. 😂
1:55 I love this
Loki to Adam: What makes you better than I?
The real answer is a passive heal, and an on demand 1 button bouncing top off.
I'm actually wondering in that universe is Hela his daughter like in the comics/norse mythology or his sister like in the mcu.
So Loki technically is a witch right ? Bc he was trained in the mystic arts by his mother who is a witch.
yessss, he’s an expert of asgardian magic 💚🖤
You can really hear the Van Kleiss in Troy Baker's voice here
Sweet, Ventress is Hela
Did....did Storm just call Loki the 1%?
Well Loki is royalty so he's technically the 1% of asgardians😂
She essentially called him a nepo baby 😂
@@andrewsanusi8462 And that's what makes it funny remembering that Loki is ADOPTED! Less he was BORN into it and more he got LUCKY to have been adopted into the 1%! (As in Thor Dark World, Odin shut down that "Birthright" garbage by reminding he could have LEFT him to have been left to die by his BIO father, but he had instead adopted and made him his son!)
Reminder that Had he not been a deceiving ass, he might have won the throne fair and square, and in many of his interactions here, he's AWARE of it bitterly! But then Thor would never have gotten his character growth as it was largely Loki "letting him SHOOT himself in the foot" that brought about the start of his adventure in exile! Loki set him up, but Thor still took the bait hook line and sinker and HE mouthed off to their father when he got scolded! Loki didn't make him do that. But that's how you KNOW they are truly BROTHERS even if not by blood. Both of them suffer "Foot in mouth" syndrome and have hurt THEMSELVES when the simple solution was possible!
3:20 sus af
Wait a minute, Hela is voiced by the same person who plays Ventress in Clone Wars!
And obi wan voices magneto
@@wesleywatson2009 i thought they sounded familar
Loki having a conversation with Yasuo is crazy.
Leblanc is basically Loki in League Of Legends universe
@@KENSHIROez3260 Interesting, I never thought of this. You are right. I tried to make a joke because of the voice actors.
@@PassanCat lol there is a lot of LoL champion who have a lot in common with Marvel character actually, Mordekaiser is Hela, Viktor is High Evolutionary, Ryze is Thanos, Twisted Fate is Gambit, Katarina is Black Widow.......
